  • A Haven for Our Annual Family Reunion

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Judy Creek is a perfect balance of getting away and playing tourist wanderer. The ambience is gracious, relaxing, tucked WAY off the beaten path. And yet you can motor off to lovely spots only a 1/2 hour away in any direction. The pool was the center of our family play activity and the well equiped kitchen the hub otherwise. And who wouldn't adore having TWO wonderful refrigerators! The Pool was a Perfect temperature and the surroundeding vast golden vistas as hawks sailed by was breathtaking. We admired lots of spectacular sunsets."

  • Highly Recommended

"My husband and I spent a glorious month at this beautifully appointed apartment, watching the sun rise over the Pacific each morning. The space is detailed carefully and tastefully, including heated floors in the bathroom and kitchen. The owner is gracious and generous with his knowledge of Santa Cruz. His affection for Santa Cruz, the neighborhood, and the property are infectious and prompt his concern for keeping the space in excellent condition. As far as location, this property is in one of the most private and secluded areas of Santa Cruz, even though it is less than a block to the beach. We were able to walk to Pacific Ave., the Boardwalk, Harbor, as well as many fabulous restaurants in the Seabright neighborhood."

  • Great house tucked into the forest and close to beach.

"This home from the front looks tiny but it has a ton of room to spread out and relax. Wonderful linens and towels were appreciated after a long day at the beach swimming and playing. The beds were all comfortable. The large great room was perfect for our family to play games, read and watch tv together. We also enjoyed sitting on the comfy patio furniture among the pine trees and fresh sea air. The owners provided an immaculately clean house. They were great to work with and were very responsive to questions. We can hardly wait to go back."

  • Possibly a great alternative

"This is a great alternative for anyone that needs close proximity to UCSB. Owner is very nice. However, as nice as the unit is, it desperately needs air conditioning(just a cheap window unit under $200 would suffice) during hot months and heat waves. Because all doors must stay open at night to allow some cooler air inside, it allows road noise inside the unit from cars passing by on the main road (the house is just one lot away) till late at night and starting very early in the morning. Also needs some black out curtains as the whole unit lights up as soon as it starts to get light. Would stay again if these two issues(air conditioning and darker curtains to block light) were solved as the unit is a nice alternative to a hotel room."
