  • Wonderful, peacful experience!

"This home is an awesome alternative to staying in one of the hotels in the town. It sits on five pastoral acres in the countryside. When you are sitting outside enjoying the view it is hard to believe the hustle and bustle of the town are only minutes away. The host, Perri, is wonderful and a joy to talk to. The farm animals are fun to watch and we were treated to fresh eggs from the Zen hens for out breakfast. The home is very comfortable and well decorated. We highly recommend a stay on this property if you are visiting the area."

  • Awesome Private Getaway!!!!

"Everything was super! The cottage was perfect for our anniversary! The location is right in the heart of Carmel and pretty much 10 mins from everything on the peninsula, heck it is just 3 minutes up the hill from the Carmel Mission where St Junipero is buried. I cannot think of one thing that was not taken care of by the owner. The location is perfect, the cottage set up is open, modern and quaint, all the appliances are new, the master bedroom has a 4 poster bed, a gas fire place and a full walk in closet. The garden area outside is perfect for enjoying lunch under a beautiful Carmel sky. I have stayed at many vacation homes over the years and I truly have to say that this cottage ranks in the top 3. Hopefully we will be back funds allowing :)! Gabrielle, Again thank you for making everything perfect for our anniversary stay!!!"

  • Cool place in Santa Cruz

"This is a great place for three couples who want to hang out and enjoy Santa Cruz. The family room/kitchen area is large and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances and devices just about any cook will need. WiFi and large screen TV with many cable channels work great, and having the TV room separate from the kitchen/family area is an excellent setup. There's a bedroom and bathroom on that separate lower level as well for the couple who stay up latest. Owners were quite responsive when two fluky mishaps occurred: the coffeemaker gave up the ghost, and the automatic garage door went off the rails. Both cheerfully addressed within a couple of hours! To be sure, the place has seen better days, but it is clean and well supplied. The house is on a quiet street that backs up to a nature/bicycling path and has a wonderful view from the back deck of the river and sunsets. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and area beaches, and if you have kids, the boardwalk is within convenient walking distance."

"Wow! This beautiful little cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. It's located in a very nice neighborhood to begin with and located just 100 steps from the beach. Upon arrival you take in the gorgeous manicured landscaping and the patio area where one can enjoy a cup of coffee each morning and look out to the ocean. The cottage itself is just perfect. A very comfortable bed, a full kitchen w/all the necessary things as far as dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc., a closet w/plenty of space for hanging clothes, a large screen TV w/cable, Wi-Fi, and total privacy which is so important to me. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the deer who visited each evening much to the owners' chagrin as the deer love eating their plants and flowers. Just don't leave the gate ajar for the deer to get into the yard! LOL We even had a baby fawn outside our window which was adorable and of course we took a picture. Unfortunately, we arrived in Pacific Grove when the Big Sur fire had begun. However, we never smelled smoke and our eyes were never burning because the wind somehow blew all the smoke out to the ocean and beyond. Would we come back? You bet because we loved it! Thank you Jonathan and Adrianna for providing a bit of heaven for others to enjoy. And thank you for your hospitality."
