  • Incredible get away spot

"This was a great 'home away from home' for us. The house was in great condition and the location was perfect. We have relatives in Davis and the house is very conveniently located for all things in and around Davis. The owners were very gracious and made us feel like we were part of the ranch 'family'"

  • Tranquil neighborhood

"This house was the perfect place for our family to stay while in Davis for our daughter's graduation. It is in a tranquil leafy neighborhood not far from all the action of campus and town, actually a straight shot down Anderson Rd from where the grad ceremonies take place. (But far enough away from noisy student housing!) The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The house has an open floor plan, and nice little garden in the back. I would have to say that the beds are just ok. The owner was responsive and informative. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely house in Davis. Thanks!!"

  • Exceptional Fourth of July!

"Two families and their friends had the BEST time enjoying all of the fantastic amenities here! We're all big waterskiers and to quickly get out on the glass in the morning was such a luxury and be back for a fabulous breakfast on the deck couldn't be better! The exposure of this house is perfect... nice sun in the morning that then travels around to the pool and sets behind you allowing for good shade during the hottest time of the day. The breeze coming off the delta by the pergola was our favorite place to hang out when we weren't out on the water. The house is very quiet for sleeping and provides enough space for the teenagers to collect in one area and adults in the other! The kitchen is WELL stocked for cooking for larger groups. The professional grade appliances are appreciated... our favorite chef was with us this weekend! The fireworks were visible from the deck both near and far. It was actually the best fireworks I've seen in a long time and we didn't have to go anywhere! We'll definitely be back."

  • Perfect for Sibling Thanksgiving

"My husband and I live in Santa Cruz, and his sister and her husband live north of L.A., but the rest of our families live far away. This cottage was the perfect place for us to meet up and spend the Thanksgiving holiday! It's very cute, inside and out, and we had no trouble staying warm. A basket of mandarins and a loaf of banana nut bread were waiting for us when we arrived. :) We spent all day Thursday cooking and really appreciated having two ovens. (We brought some of our own appliances and specialized dishes, but otherwise the kitchen was sufficiently stocked with cooking ware.) Friday morning we got up early and drove into Sequoia National Park, where we had perfect weather. Saturday we explored the farm a bit more and enjoyed strolling through the orange orchards. It's such a beautiful area! We also visited California hot springs. :) On Sunday, we had the chance to visit with Joanie and Steve and learn more about the property. We loved our stay and hope to return some day!"
