  • Loved it!

"We loved the house. It was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. And it's in a really special location. Our three kids loved climbing on all the rocks behind the house and on the jungle gym at the house (if you have no kids...not to worry, the jungle gym is not an eyesore). There is also a separate studio which is really nice for a third couple. There is a lot of nice outdoor space to have a meal, hang out etc... Christa was incredibly quick to respond to all our questions. It's really a perfect little house to rent."

  • Mid Winter Break

"This is a great property and we enjoyed our 7 day break away from the rainy Pacific Northwest. The weather was 75-85 degrees and sunny with two windy days, just right. The property is great. The pool and adjoining spa, Lemmon and Grapefruit trees, gas fire pit and grill made this a perfect VRBO. The house is nice and you have a view of the mountains from almost every room. The backyard is sheltered by 6-15ft hedges so you could spend the whole day in your birthday suit if you wanted. The yard and pool area are immaculate with Hummingbirds zooming all around. There are a few items you need to be aware of. There are 5 neighbors within 200ft. One neighbor has a 14 year old dog (Brodie) that barks at you whenever you're outside, not incessantly but often. His elderly owner has the T.V. on and audible until very late. On the other side there are a couple little dogs that barked a couple times until the other neighbor screamed expletives at them. These aren't horrible things but you should know. The pool guy (Jose) is great, I get the feeling he gets Christmas cards from the owner or he should because he tends to the pool Thursdays and Mondays. He keeps the whole place looking great and makes notes of what the gardeners need to do better. This guy is a VRBO owners dream. The yard staff shows up on Fridays. The house, like any, has its quirks. Spend time looking through everything, you'll find most needed items this way and figure out the lights so you can enjoy the very cool ambience. Also get to know the poll/spa remote in detail, you'll be glad you understand that thing front and back. I gave this VRBO 5 stars because you can't give 4.7 and it doesn't deserve a 4. You are 10 minutes from everywhere, airport, grocery, restaurants, etc. We ate out all but two nights, highly recommend Sammy G's, La Vallauras, and Bill's Pizza (call one hour before you want to pick up your pizza). We also took the Palm Springs Tram to the top of the mountain, great views but read the reviews before planning a trip there. We golfed Indian Canyons South Course, it was great. This VRBO is high on our list of places to come back to, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did."

  • Great Location, Stunning View, & Private

"The backyard is perfect! A view of the mountains, beautiful palm trees, and the heated POOL/SPA was made for relaxing. Although we had neighbors on all sides of us, it was still very private as the entire house was surrounded with a privacy wall and plenty of greenery. The neighborhood is quiet and made for a serene setting. The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and the lovely strip of Palm Springs. It was also very easy to access main roads for day trips to Joshua Tree and the Empire Polo Club for Desert Trip music festival (Also the home of Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals). The homeowner Ray is ready to answer any questions you may have and was quick to return our deposit once our stay was over. Overall an unforgettable vacation and we would not hesitate to stay here again! TIP: Go watch the sunrise or sunset, or both in Joshua Tree if you can make the time. If not, the sunrise is still pretty awesome from the rental home."
