  • Great location, lovely property

"This is a great place to stay while exploring the Borrego Springs area. The transaction was flawless. I never met the owner, but she communicated promptly, and everything went very smoothly. Borrego Springs is a lovely town, and the Anza-Borrego State Park is wonderful. This casita is very close to town and to many of the attractions in the area. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I were to return to the area."

  • Wonderful home !

"What a wonderful surprise this lovely home was for a desert getaway. From the moment you walk in the door the place feels like home. Every detail in the decorating makes you smile. And besides being visually pleasing, the furnishing are super comfortable. The couches and lounge chairs are perfect for curling up with book or taking in the scenery. As for the amenities, 'well appointed' seems like an understatement, as Rob has seems to have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is also idea. We walked around the neighborhood every night, taking in the crisp desert air, and beautiful night sky. A drive to nearby Fonts Point to watch the sunset and full moon rise was especially memorable. All around it was a great stay. We would definitely recommend this home, and hope to return again soon."

  • The casita was a very comfortable and quiet oasis.

"The wife and I wanted a nice place to stay while watching the Perseid meteor shower. We actually saw more shooting stars from the comfort of Judy's casita-second-story balcony then from the golf course nearby. During the day we napped on the comfortable beds and made meals in the functional but beautiful kitchen. The WiFi did not buffer as we watched movies on the couch from the coffee table that pulls up to just the right height. Once the sun started to set, we used the pool which was like a bath tub--very inviting from the summer heat. We explored the area with our dogs and saw a coyote that lives nearby--scrawny little fella. Judy (the owner) was very helpful by responding quickly to questions. So, Would I stay here again? Yes, in fact, we might buy a vacation home in the area as a result of our experience. Try the place, you won't be disappointed."

  • What's not to love?

"This is a great place to stay. My husband and I just finished a week there and we highly recommend it. The owners are terrific, responsive and helpful. Loved sitting outside at night looking at the stars, using an iPhone app to try and identify them. Nearby Ram's Hill Club has excellent food. If you want to sit outside at sunset, make a reservation. Also, the Italian restaurant out by the airport is pretty good, not fancy, but fine. The bed in the master was fine. Lots of lamps for reading. Two bathrooms so each person of the couple has his or her own. Spices and condiments are there as is information about what to do locally. Although we are not golfers, we heard others talk about how wonderful the course i. The home has a wonderful view of the course plus a pond with resident ducks. There was a wonderful art show in town that weekend plus plenty of birders, hikers, cyclists, four wheelers, golfers, painters, swimmers and people looking for the spring wildflowers. We did have a meal at nearby Zorro's and it made us wonder why anyone would go to a hotel in Borrego when they can enjoy a much better time here. Thanks to our hosts."
