  • Palm Springs get away

"We had the fortunate pleasure of a last minute get away to the Palm Springs area. We absolutely loved this home, very friendly layout, spacious great room and open kitchen. We ate in for breakfast and lunch and the beautiful kitchen was well equipped, there was a bar-B-Q available on the patio as well. The two master bedrooms were beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and lovely on suite bathrooms. The view from the upstairs balcony overlooked the Cimarron Golf Course and the city of Palm Springs. The backyard pool was fabulous on the 90 degree days, and the hot tub was great as the evenings cooled down. There was a larger pool for this gated community just across the street from the house. This neighborhood is quite and well maintained. We enjoyed morning walks around the path circling the golf course and walks to Starbucks. We took a day and drove into Disneyland, our first visit in 20 years and less then 2 hours from the house. We enjoyed hiking at the top of the tram and attended the Thursday night open market in downtown Palm Springs that showcases many local artists and offers many fresh fruits and produce. We shopped El Paseo and drove through interesting neighborhoods where many homes have been restored to the original mid-century modern architecture....and we ate! The early evening dinner on the Tommy Bahama open patio was a lovely first vacation meal, live music, cool breezes and great food. During the week we also visited the Cliff House, Lavender Bistro, Trio and several others. We can't wait to go again and would highly recommend this property."

  • Perfect Condo, great owner, highly recommended

"We rented for two weeks in mid-July to work remote (from the condo) while house hunting. Previous reviews are correct when they say it has “everything you need”. For other condos in the past I had to bring spices/ingredients myself or buy them. I was delighted to find everything I needed. The condo had tons of spices/seasonings as well as other food “ingredients” (olive oil, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla, etc.) In the refrigerator I found salad dressings, condiments, salsa, even coffee. I do not know if Mark left these there or if past renters left them there but I LOVED the array and abundance. I appreciated it so much that when I ran out of plastic wrap I not only bought some but I also bought plastic bags and foil and added to the collection to help out future renters. There are even reusable shopping bags and a soft side cooler (cold packs in the freezer) for shopping. The unit is exactly as pictured. It’s on the top floor and very quiet (no one above walking around) and faces south (bedrooms face north). I loved the views of the mountains as I started my work day at the dining room table and the wi-fi was great and NEVER failed me. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms so my cousin came to visit for a few days. She loved the condo and the complex so much she decided she wants to buy a unit at Canyon Shores. That’s how nice this place is. Lastly, some comments about Mark. Whenever I rent from someone the first time I get nervous. I want to reassure any future renters that he is very easy to deal with and very reliable. I was nervous about just depositing a check into his account without the protection of a credit card. My worries were unfounded. Within days (and weeks in advance of my rental) the key card to the gate for the complex arrived in the mail and he included a stamped envelope for me to return it after my stay. A few days before the rental I got an email from Mark with the code for the front door. By the way, not having a key was wonderful. No worries about remembering to take the key with to the pool or getting locked out. Everything worked out perfectly with Mark. What few questions I had he answered quickly via text or email. A week after we got back he sent me a check with my deposit refund. If you like the pictures and it’s available, do not hesitate."

  • Perfect Private Retreat

"I stayed at this house for a long weekend with my friends. We are all from LA and just wanted a quiet weekend in a private setting. The house exceeded our expectations! The interior is beautifully decorated, very cozy and homy. The rooms were immaculately clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with any cookware and utensils we needed. The house is very private; it has a fence that runs along the entire perimeter of the yard so you feel comfortable leaving all the blinds and curtains open -which is great because you can see the mountain range from the front of the house or the gorgeous pool in the backyard. The pool, by the way, is amazing. We spent 90% of our time in or around the pool; it was a great size and very deep. Also, a plethora of seating areas in all corners of the yard. So you can take advantage of the view from any angle. We had a truly amazing experience at this house and we were sad to leave. We will definitely be back and I would recommend it to anyone."

  • Very attentive hosts

"We are regular VRBO renters and Joe was by far one of the best hosts. He was very responsive to any concerns or items required. The house is extremely well stocked and organized. The area is quite and a nice base for our first trip to the Palm Springs area. We are a family with two seniors and three kids aged 6months, 5, 8. The house was safe and stocked for them and they really enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. Thank you Joe and Corey!"
