  • Quiet and clean

"The property was as described, in a quiet neighborhood and very clean. Large bathroom, although the tub may be hard to get in and out of for some people and the memory foam bed was great. The owner was very friendly and helpful and quick to provide a few items upon request. The hot tub was great with a nice backyard. Overall we liked the place, the only minor complaint is the access due to privacy and parking gates to get in an out, definitely safe! I would recommend this property for a step up from a hotel experience."

  • Lovely, comfortable, spacious home in a quiet neighborhood.

"We had SO MUCH FUN at Walter's house over New Year's holiday. I stayed there with my husband and child, and my sister and her family. Between the two of us we had a 1, 2, and 4 year old at the house, and this place was perfect for our needs. You will see on the listing that it says "not good for kids," and the reason Walter has this listed is because the pool is NOT fenced in, which could be a hazard with small children. But, because our children are so young they are never out of our site, we felt more than comfortable staying here. The door leading to the patio/pool locks so we felt safe that way as well We paid $25 a day to have the pool and spa heated, which was well worth it since Palm Springs nights can get chilly. We all spent hours playing and splashing in the pool and spa, and using the tremendous lawn to play bocce ball, turn cartwheels, and play "picnic" to eat snacks. The 4 year old was fascinated by the koi pond too. This house is in a quiet neighborhood in Cathedral City, nice view of the mountains in the day and the stars at night. It's not really in walking distance to restaurants, but we were a 5 minute drive from a shopping center with Target and Starbucks, and just a few more minutes from Trader Joes. If you're homebodies like us and just wanted to unplug and relax, this place is for you! Walter is very responsive and helpful, and easy to get a hold of. He has thoughtfully stocked the house with staples and instructions, and makes sure you will be comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat - take me back to the desert!"

  • Great location - very comfortable

"Don's condo was perfect for me and my college aged son - the two master suite layout provided plenty of space and privacy. The location was central to DT PS and lots of wonderful hiking trails. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and views of the mountains, and Don was terrific with response times and information. Thank you!"

  • simply GREAT

"The condo was everything it promised!. Most all condos in desert princess are the same, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, so the location, exposition, furniture and equipment make the difference. This one is nicely located near the main entrance, and away from main street. Great mountain views, afternoon sun. extremely comfortable. the bedding is great. all very clean. kitchen has everything, we were able to bake our christmas cookies and everything else we wanted! extra towels and blanquets, movies to watch, games to play. (my brother rented a nice one just a street over, and I liked ours much much better) . The owner, Lee, does not respond well to email, but once you get her attention, is absolutely lovely and helpful!"
