  • Such a lovely oasis

"What a special place! We felt immediately at home and yet definitely on vacation ;) we spent most of our time out on the lux patio and pool area resting in the hammock, grilling, and taking in the beauty and quiet. Francie is a most accommodating host and the place is super cozy. We're already planning when we can go back! A truly special home."

  • Great House! Great Location!

"The house was very nice and spacious. The outdoor pool area was beautiful with the covered port, the bbq bar, and the built-in seating area around the fire pit and most amazing mountain views. Everyone helping us was great!"

  • Beautiful house with gorgeous views

"We had an amazing time at Jean's house. It is conveniently located in a quiet alley off a street near everything (restaurants, supermarkets like Trader Joe's are just a couple miles away) and has a big garage that had enough space for our Suburban. The house has a Spanish style architecture with white walls, nice details and vegetation all around. When we arrived, Karl (really cool guy) showed us around. The house was super clean, the swimming pool was already heated (upon request for an extra fee) and Jean even took the time to put a Christmas tree with decorations next to the fireplace and set the dining table. It was magical. We were a family of 8 and really didn't feel like we were stepping on each other. The open kitchen area is huge and very well equipped, with a bar so we could cook and hang out in the same time. The living room is big with a large TV that has cable and a DVD player, and views on the outdoor swimming pool. You should fight for the luxurious master bedroom: king bed, lots of space, a bathtub and a shower, a walk-in closet, 2 sinks... if you lose, the other bedrooms are great too, 2 of them have their own bathroom. The outdoor area is fantastic, with a swimming pool and a jacuzzi surrounded by lounge chairs, and a bbq area surrounded by a bar. The view is gorgeous, facing the mountains and a few gigantic palm trees. It's a perfect setting. For colder nights there's also an outdoor fireplace. Overall great experience with a very nice and responsive host. I definitely recommend, we'll book again if we come back."

  • Lovely home -l great outdoor living

"The house was wonderful - spacious - clean and decorated very well. This house is wonderful and I would recommend it to everybody. It is perfect for a large group - spacious and all you need is there. The kids enjoyed the pool immensely and the koi pond was a real hit. We have always gone to Newport Beach for our family vacations but the general opinion was that the Bella Vista was just we needed for Spring Break. So we will be back - all 10 of us."
