  • A Magical Place

"We absolutely loved our stay and this neighborhood. The neighborhood is very quiet, and upon my researching it ahead of our stay, I read somewhere, that the neighborhood, Vista Las Palmas, is considered by some to be THE preeminent midcentury neighborhood in the entire world. This seemed very believable. I have an indelible memory of going out early one morning for a coffee run. The sky was pink, and that pink hue was all over the mountains and as I looked down the street at the beautiful neighboring homes and street scape it everything there had that pink hue too and, again, it was dead quiet. It was a stunning and unique experience. So, I'm a big fan of the neighborhood. The house is a classic midcentury beaut. It's very simple and minimalist style on the inside accompanied the user friendliness of the house well. Don, the owner, beyond being a very kind and very easy to deal with counterpart, seems to have thought of every detail, so everything is super easy and super intuitive. For example, there are a lot of outside lights which make the pool scene amazing at night, with fountains and a fire pit - all easy flicks of the switch. The home is an easy walk to my favorite coffee shop there, Koffi; my favorite breakfast place, Cheeky's; and my favorite lunch place, Jake's which are all on the main Downtown strip. For even quicker access, the home has a bike closet. I plan to visit this home again on a regular basis and highly recommend it."

  • Extraordinary property with a fabulous pool area

"We spent four glorious nights at this house. There were eight of us and it felt very roomy. All of the bedrooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds. Even the smallest of the bedrooms is very cozy and has it’s own attached bathroom. All of the bathrooms are beautiful with updated, modern fixtures and excellent showers. There are actually two Master Suites located on opposite ends of the house. It feels like there are two wings of the house, separated by the living room / dining room area. So, even with a large group, there is definitely good separation of space. There is a large dining room table with ample seating for a large group. The kitchen is huge and very well supplied. It even has two dishwashers, which I didn’t think we would need, but we ended up using both of them every day. There is a lot of counter space, which makes it very easy to have a number of people working in the kitchen at the same time. This property is truly wonderful, but the real jewel in the crown is the pool area. The pool is large with a very roomy attached spa and a lovely patio, with beautiful Palm Springs landscaping. There are even pool toys and floaties on site! It’s glorious. Three of the bedrooms have doors that take you right out to the pool area. Wonderful for morning coffee! There is also a nice table out in that area. We had breakfast out there most days. The property is very private and located in a quiet neighborhood, just a few miles from downtown. There is off street parking in a driveway that is gated. It is very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and eating out. The owner is a long time resident of the area and lives close by. She is very responsive to any needs and is a wealth of information on what to do and where to go. This is a wonderful rental for large groups and families. We can’t wait to come back!"

  • Stunning Mountain View Condo

"I stayed at the Arches Town House for a month and it couldn't have been better. The condo is clean and modern, open and airy. And, in my opinion, the location is ideal. In less than a minute you can be sitting on the patio of one two popular new restaurants sipping a cocktail and enjoying great food. Or, take a leisurely stroll into town for even more eating and drinking options. The Buzz stops nearby, too. And, then there are the views! The front patio has unobstructed mountain views. You feel like you could just reach out and touch them! Having both the front and back patios gives you the best of both worlds. Mornings can be spent drinking coffee on the quiet back patio while enjoying the morning sun. To catch the afternoon sun simply switch to the front patio and sip on a glass of wine as you gaze at the stunning vista. The condo itself is very well appointed and incredibly comfortable. It's located in a small, quiet complex - I rarely saw anyone else around. The pool and hot tub are heated year-round which is a big plus. The kitchen has a huge window overlooking the pool area and is equipped with everything you expect. In case you need anything, the property management team is incredibly responsive. You probably won't need them, but if you do they will take great care of you! All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the Arches Town House"
