  • Just what we were looking for!!!!

"My husband and I wanted to take a "babymoon" before our first child is due in August and Palm Springs seemed like the perfect spot for some R&R. I knew exactly the type of property I was looking for and when I came across Michael's unit it sounded perfect. I was not let down. The unit was clean and had everything we needed including floats for the pool, a Kruger coffee maker (with coffee available upon arrival), beach towels, iron/ironing board, extra pillows, I could go on and on. This was extremely convenient as I wanted to pack light. One of my biggest concerns when travelling is whether the bed will be comfortable and this was especially important to me now being 6 months pregnant. I had read in a previous review the bed was very comfortable and it was so I was extremely happy about that. The couch in the living room is also comfortable- a sectional so my hubby and I both had plenty of room to stretch out and watch movies on the blu-ray player provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need so you can grocery shop and make meals right there in the unit. There is also a nice balcony with beautiful views of the mountains which you can also enjoy from the living room. The unit itself is in a great location in the community. Being on the end right next to the parking lot was great as we didn't have to drag our groceries far. And the pool is only a short walk too which was great. There was hardly anyone ever even at the pool so it was quiet and you had it all to yourself. The community itself was super quiet too which was fantastic. The location of the property is also a prime spot. It only took us a couple minutes to get to downtown Palm Springs. It was really nice to be so close to everything. For those who like to explore/hike the Coachella Valley Preserve was only about a 20 minute drive and totally worth it. And Joshua Tree National Park was about an hour away which was also pretty cool. The tram is close by but we did not end up doing that. The Thursday market downtown is always fun too. We were both so pleased with our stay, we will definitely come back here and stay again. This place had everything we were looking for and then some. Michael was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions timely. He really cares about your stay and having you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit. I highly recommend this spot, you will not be disappointed!!!"

  • Multi-Generation Getaway

"As with many other reviewers, I have nothing but positive feedback to leave. Everything was perfect - from working with the owner to book the property - all the way to our (late) check out! Just a note - earlier reviews stated the property could accommodate up to 20 people comfortably. While this is true and there is plenty of room for 20 people, The City of Palm Springs has recently implemented strict code enforcements on occupancy limits. Our large group, consisting of two couples, our children, our parents and our pets , couldn't have felt more at home and relaxed anywhere else. In fact, on two occasions, I canceled dinner plans just to enjoy relaxing by the pool and barbecuing at home. The neighborhood is quiet and mostly residential, however the Riviera Palm Springs is literally only a 3 minute walk. Since we were visiting over Spring Break, many of our friends and our kids' friends were in town too, which made my teenage son happy. He was able to go back and forth between the Lodge and the hotel to hang with his buds. We made the most of the great location. My mother and I rode bikes to Palm Canyon Drive and enjoyed shopping, dining and browsing the busy downtown area without ever having to worry about parking. I truly can't think of a single negative comment! I hope everyone who stays at the Acacia Lodge appreciates it as much as we did and treats the property respectfully! It is a gem!"

  • Perfect Palm Springs Accomodations

"The condo was a perfect place for our family to meet and enjoy a weekend together. It was spotlessly clean, extremely well supplied, comfortable beds and the private patios and grounds were lovely. We look forward to a return visit."
