  • Good Value Great Loction

"The owner was very helpful in supporting our reservation, deposits and agreements were very well managed and timely. The Accommodation was as presented, great location for an exciting week with a 5 year old who loves the pool but can't swim. Lots of pool time and parental supervision resulted in a new swimmer and a very happy family. The pool was a perfect size for the little guy, who started with side to side and ended the week swimming the length. The pool sparkled in the sun and was warm with the use of the cover, no additional electricity was required. Kitchen was very functional with many pots and pans...the BBQ is nearing its best before date..All in All a great time in PS"

  • beautiful pool, lots of space

"Overall, we had a nice time at this house. We were two families (4 parents, 3 kids), and the house is laid out well for that constellation of people; each adult couple got their own master suite, and the kids were across the house in two adjacent rooms. Here's my breakdown. Positives: Beautiful pool and hot tub, and very attractive landscaping. Plenty of space, including a huge "great room" that opens out to the pool area. (It was cold while we were there, but in warmer times the indoor/outdoor flow would be great.) Lots of bathrooms, lots of space to retreat to when you need that. Excellent location. Benjamin is very quick in responding to communications. Negatives: This is really more of an empty showcase, staged for sale, than a rental space; lots of blank walls, generic furnishings (some of which still had tags on them!), some cheap elements (e.g., curtain pullbacks that were falling out of the plaster); no sense of people living there (e.g., no kids' games, no books on bookshelves); not enough rugs or furniture to absorb sound, so a lot of sound echo; no welcome/guide to the house. It would have been nice to know going into the rental that this was primarily set up for showing to potential buyers. A lot of things that should be working at this costly a rental were not: we were informed the day before we arrived that the dishwasher wasn't usable (and there was no dish rack for handwashing until the last night); there's no music system aside from an old portable one (bring your own); the ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge don't work (an extra errand for ice purchases); the wifi wasn't working when we arrived, and had to be replaced while we were there (spending time on the phone with Time Warner isn't really a vacation-y thing). All that said, it was sort of glamorous, and the pool/spa made it all worthwhile. And this was our 10-year-old daughter's favorite house of the 5 we've rented over the years in Palm Springs."

  • Unique Ocotillo Oasis

"Oasis is a very apt name. My friends and I had a terrific stay - this home was very well suited for our 14th annual girls' trip. It is a quick drive from the airport and to the PSP downtown area. The well cared for home features an amazing collection of antique lighting, clocks, and more. The outside pool area was outstanding - plenty of comfortable seating, very private, fragrant jasmine which was a favorite of the hummingbirds, and a beautiful pool. Ralph was easy to work with. We would definitely hope to stay again."
