  • Very pleasant condo

"We stayed at the condo over Christmas and for 5 nights. We have 3 young kids (3, 5 and 8) and the condo was perfect for our family. The patio is very nice and we had almost every meal there. The pool and jacuzzi were heated and we were the only ones there everyday! It actually felt more like a little house than a condo! The location is convenient, close to everything, yet very quiet. The owner, Molly was very pleasant to interact with and responsive before and our our stay (we did not need her during our stay as everything worked perfectly). Definitely recommended!"

  • Mid Winter Break

"This is a great property and we enjoyed our 7 day break away from the rainy Pacific Northwest. The weather was 75-85 degrees and sunny with two windy days, just right. The property is great. The pool and adjoining spa, Lemmon and Grapefruit trees, gas fire pit and grill made this a perfect VRBO. The house is nice and you have a view of the mountains from almost every room. The backyard is sheltered by 6-15ft hedges so you could spend the whole day in your birthday suit if you wanted. The yard and pool area are immaculate with Hummingbirds zooming all around. There are a few items you need to be aware of. There are 5 neighbors within 200ft. One neighbor has a 14 year old dog (Brodie) that barks at you whenever you're outside, not incessantly but often. His elderly owner has the T.V. on and audible until very late. On the other side there are a couple little dogs that barked a couple times until the other neighbor screamed expletives at them. These aren't horrible things but you should know. The pool guy (Jose) is great, I get the feeling he gets Christmas cards from the owner or he should because he tends to the pool Thursdays and Mondays. He keeps the whole place looking great and makes notes of what the gardeners need to do better. This guy is a VRBO owners dream. The yard staff shows up on Fridays. The house, like any, has its quirks. Spend time looking through everything, you'll find most needed items this way and figure out the lights so you can enjoy the very cool ambience. Also get to know the poll/spa remote in detail, you'll be glad you understand that thing front and back. I gave this VRBO 5 stars because you can't give 4.7 and it doesn't deserve a 4. You are 10 minutes from everywhere, airport, grocery, restaurants, etc. We ate out all but two nights, highly recommend Sammy G's, La Vallauras, and Bill's Pizza (call one hour before you want to pick up your pizza). We also took the Palm Springs Tram to the top of the mountain, great views but read the reviews before planning a trip there. We golfed Indian Canyons South Course, it was great. This VRBO is high on our list of places to come back to, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did."

  • Perfect Family Week

"We are a family from the UK with two teenage sons who have stayed in Palm Springs on numerous occasions in the past. This home was head and shoulders above any other we have previously rented and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. The house is spacious, clean, beautifully styled and furnished, comfortable and exceptionally well stocked with even the smallest of details covered (hand soap, tissues and dishwasher tablets, etc). We loved the fact that we all had out own space but could come together as a family to eat, chat or watch TV. The pool was a refreshing oasis set within a most beautiful landscaped garden and we were lucky enough to share the outside space with a hummingbird who had made a nest in one of the small palm trees. The house is set in a quiet location but there are plenty of supermarkets and coffee shops close by for everyday provisions and treats. We thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Sunnylands but mostly we enjoyed the warmth of the sun, a week of rest and this lovely home."

  • Love the location

"Had a great time at La Casita over the holidays! Downtown restaurants and bars were just a short walk away and a short stumble back home. Starbucks was also a short walk in the morning. The backyard was a perfect retreat in the afternoon to reenergize your senses. The house has great charm and is in a very quiet area given its close proximity to downtown. We look forward to staying here again."
