"Kitchen is well equipped, vacuum is great, beds are very comfortable, televisions are big and the unit overlooks the pool which is steps away. Front room and balcony also has wonderful mountain views. Loved the propane BBQ as other units we have rented had an electric grill or grilling was not allowed. We had several contacts with the owner and he was truly interested in making sure we were happy with everything and the facility was meeting our needs."

  • Palm Springs cool!

"PERFECT LOCATION to explore Palm Springs! We rented this house with two teenage girls and my husband and it was perfect! Great house for a small family or two couples, Home owner is very easy to deal with and friendly, home has a fun funky retro style and the neighborhood is fun to drive around and check out the mid century homes. Also close to uptown short little drive!!, Palm Springs is a hip little town and we enjoyed it! (washer dryer pool toys air conditioning kitchen supplies tv games everything you need to enjoy your stay) <3"

  • All New Finishes and Fantastic Location

"The condo unit itself is completely renovated. They have put in granite, new appliances and lighting. Modern and fresh decor with quality leather furniture makes for comfortable interior. The kitchen is decently equipped if you choose to cook a few meals in. This unit has two nicely appointed bedrooms each with it's own bathroom. This is one of the special units with it's own private patio that faces the mountain. We sat out there much of the time. The Sandstone Villas is a wonderful community. Make sure you introduce yourself to the neighbors and go to the impromptu happy hours by the pool. Speaking of which, there are 2 heated pools with hot tubes and 2 unheated pools, 3 tennis courts, workout rooms with good quality equipment and free weights. We love staying in South Palm Springs it's a great location. 5 minutes to get to Downtown and dozens of great restaurants, 10 minutes to the Design District (and more great restaurants), 5 minutes to Ralph's (best grocery store in PS), easy access to the 111 and Palm Desert and Indio. I think it took no more than 15 minutes to get to El Paseo. There is excellent hiking right out the door (South Lykken trails) and 5 minutes to the Boggert Trail head to hike the other trails in the Andreas Hills neighborhood (further south). Andrew is very responsive to any request you might have and is easy and reasonable to work with. Highly recommend this unit, especially to longer term renters. A few things to be aware of: - The laundry is shared a few steps from the covered parking place - all the washer/dryer units have just been replaced (it will cost $2.50 per load to wash and dry - quarters required). - This is a first floor unit so you will hear the neighbor a little above you. This didn't bother us and we never noticed when I had the radio on. Remember the first floor unit gives you that wonderful patio. - Both bathrooms have a large shower - no bathtub. Great water pressure and the hot water tank never ran out. - The cable TV package was limited but included HBO and Showtime. The unit has excellent WIFI. Note: We stayed for 2 full months Feb-March."

  • Ready to Come Back!

"I had the good fortune and good sense to take this wonderful house for three months. It is comfortable, very spacious, and charming, with mid century details like beamed ceilings, adjustable wooden shutters to allow in just the right amount of desert light, and a mid century modern (gas) fireplace that is both functional and retro. The large bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house which means it is ideal for friends to share or for guests. The house is well stocked, and a large washer and dryer make life easy. The landscaping front and back is beautiful; the pristine pool, overlooked by a cluster of large palms in the yard and the mountains beyond, is completely enclosed for privacy. A large lanai in the back provides space for sitting and dining if you want shade, and patio furniture is poolside if you want sun. A gas grill is provided as well. The house sits across from a large arroyo which opens the house to light and space by day and stars by night. In my book the house is ideally located near shopping, parks, and downtown, but the neighborhood is uncrowded and quiet. The landlord is lovely, well organized, and generous, and the management company is responsive and easy to work with. I plan to be back."
