  • Just what we were looking for!!!!

"My husband and I wanted to take a "babymoon" before our first child is due in August and Palm Springs seemed like the perfect spot for some R&R. I knew exactly the type of property I was looking for and when I came across Michael's unit it sounded perfect. I was not let down. The unit was clean and had everything we needed including floats for the pool, a Kruger coffee maker (with coffee available upon arrival), beach towels, iron/ironing board, extra pillows, I could go on and on. This was extremely convenient as I wanted to pack light. One of my biggest concerns when travelling is whether the bed will be comfortable and this was especially important to me now being 6 months pregnant. I had read in a previous review the bed was very comfortable and it was so I was extremely happy about that. The couch in the living room is also comfortable- a sectional so my hubby and I both had plenty of room to stretch out and watch movies on the blu-ray player provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need so you can grocery shop and make meals right there in the unit. There is also a nice balcony with beautiful views of the mountains which you can also enjoy from the living room. The unit itself is in a great location in the community. Being on the end right next to the parking lot was great as we didn't have to drag our groceries far. And the pool is only a short walk too which was great. There was hardly anyone ever even at the pool so it was quiet and you had it all to yourself. The community itself was super quiet too which was fantastic. The location of the property is also a prime spot. It only took us a couple minutes to get to downtown Palm Springs. It was really nice to be so close to everything. For those who like to explore/hike the Coachella Valley Preserve was only about a 20 minute drive and totally worth it. And Joshua Tree National Park was about an hour away which was also pretty cool. The tram is close by but we did not end up doing that. The Thursday market downtown is always fun too. We were both so pleased with our stay, we will definitely come back here and stay again. This place had everything we were looking for and then some. Michael was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions timely. He really cares about your stay and having you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit. I highly recommend this spot, you will not be disappointed!!!"

  • Mid Winter Break

"This is a great property and we enjoyed our 7 day break away from the rainy Pacific Northwest. The weather was 75-85 degrees and sunny with two windy days, just right. The property is great. The pool and adjoining spa, Lemmon and Grapefruit trees, gas fire pit and grill made this a perfect VRBO. The house is nice and you have a view of the mountains from almost every room. The backyard is sheltered by 6-15ft hedges so you could spend the whole day in your birthday suit if you wanted. The yard and pool area are immaculate with Hummingbirds zooming all around. There are a few items you need to be aware of. There are 5 neighbors within 200ft. One neighbor has a 14 year old dog (Brodie) that barks at you whenever you're outside, not incessantly but often. His elderly owner has the T.V. on and audible until very late. On the other side there are a couple little dogs that barked a couple times until the other neighbor screamed expletives at them. These aren't horrible things but you should know. The pool guy (Jose) is great, I get the feeling he gets Christmas cards from the owner or he should because he tends to the pool Thursdays and Mondays. He keeps the whole place looking great and makes notes of what the gardeners need to do better. This guy is a VRBO owners dream. The yard staff shows up on Fridays. The house, like any, has its quirks. Spend time looking through everything, you'll find most needed items this way and figure out the lights so you can enjoy the very cool ambience. Also get to know the poll/spa remote in detail, you'll be glad you understand that thing front and back. I gave this VRBO 5 stars because you can't give 4.7 and it doesn't deserve a 4. You are 10 minutes from everywhere, airport, grocery, restaurants, etc. We ate out all but two nights, highly recommend Sammy G's, La Vallauras, and Bill's Pizza (call one hour before you want to pick up your pizza). We also took the Palm Springs Tram to the top of the mountain, great views but read the reviews before planning a trip there. We golfed Indian Canyons South Course, it was great. This VRBO is high on our list of places to come back to, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did."

  • Has Everything You Need for an Amazing Vacation!

"This is the second time me and my family have stayed at the 19th Hole in Palm Springs, and we loved it again! This villa has everything you need! It's super clean, cozy, comfortable, spacious, relaxing, well-appointed, and does not disappoint! We loved everything such as: the amazing beds, beautiful furnishings, big master bath with soaking tub and separate shower, fully-stocked kitchen, beautiful dining table and chairs, cozy new couch, lovely patio and outdoor furniture, relaxing saltwater pool without the smell of chlorine on your skin afterwards, lush grounds with trees and large grassy area, nice washer/dryer, great fridge with water and ice, excellent dishes/cups/glassware/pans/acrylic dishes for kids and outdoors, good cable with nice TV's, spacious walk-in-closet in the master, plenty of sheets/towels/pool towels, privacy, beautiful decor. I could go on and on, but really this villa has everything a small family or two couples would need! We were sad to go after staying for a week. We hope to come back again for the third time! Thank you, Debra and Jim, for being an amazing host and hostess who really focuses on the details of making all of your guests feel welcome and at home. We love your villa!"
