  • Palm Springs get away

"We had the fortunate pleasure of a last minute get away to the Palm Springs area. We absolutely loved this home, very friendly layout, spacious great room and open kitchen. We ate in for breakfast and lunch and the beautiful kitchen was well equipped, there was a bar-B-Q available on the patio as well. The two master bedrooms were beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and lovely on suite bathrooms. The view from the upstairs balcony overlooked the Cimarron Golf Course and the city of Palm Springs. The backyard pool was fabulous on the 90 degree days, and the hot tub was great as the evenings cooled down. There was a larger pool for this gated community just across the street from the house. This neighborhood is quite and well maintained. We enjoyed morning walks around the path circling the golf course and walks to Starbucks. We took a day and drove into Disneyland, our first visit in 20 years and less then 2 hours from the house. We enjoyed hiking at the top of the tram and attended the Thursday night open market in downtown Palm Springs that showcases many local artists and offers many fresh fruits and produce. We shopped El Paseo and drove through interesting neighborhoods where many homes have been restored to the original mid-century modern architecture....and we ate! The early evening dinner on the Tommy Bahama open patio was a lovely first vacation meal, live music, cool breezes and great food. During the week we also visited the Cliff House, Lavender Bistro, Trio and several others. We can't wait to go again and would highly recommend this property."

  • The casita was a very comfortable and quiet oasis.

"The wife and I wanted a nice place to stay while watching the Perseid meteor shower. We actually saw more shooting stars from the comfort of Judy's casita-second-story balcony then from the golf course nearby. During the day we napped on the comfortable beds and made meals in the functional but beautiful kitchen. The WiFi did not buffer as we watched movies on the couch from the coffee table that pulls up to just the right height. Once the sun started to set, we used the pool which was like a bath tub--very inviting from the summer heat. We explored the area with our dogs and saw a coyote that lives nearby--scrawny little fella. Judy (the owner) was very helpful by responding quickly to questions. So, Would I stay here again? Yes, in fact, we might buy a vacation home in the area as a result of our experience. Try the place, you won't be disappointed."

  • Perfect getaway

"The property was a mix of art, spiritual and dessert retreat. The house had so much to look at we spent most of the morning looking at the exterior while enjoying a cup of coffee. The property direction provided are spot on so follow it as close as you can. There isn't much out there for markers otherwise to find the house. Fortunately the Christmas Lights helped the little house stand out as late as we arrived. The beds were oh so comfy. The scent of oils, herbs and sage filled the home and relaxed you to sleep. It is a lot larger than the images on the website make it out to be. No actual "doors" for the bedrooms but that didn't bother us at all. House was very clean except for a little sandy feeling on the floor but to be expected with the wind gusting 30mph the night before. Owners were very quick to answer questions we had via email and followed up the next day to make sure we were happy with the stay. We will be back for sure. It's booked out pretty well in advance so don't hesitate if you are interested. We wanted to book for a few weeks out but found it already taken. We may wait till winter time to enjoy the dessert in a different season."

  • Better than advertised!

"We stayed here for a long girls weekend and were so happy with the location, decor and accommodations! Right out the back patio ( which is terrific ) we found the pool and tennis courts. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfy. Nice to have a garage to park in when it's hot, and there is guest parking right out front. The owner was so easy to work with, we can't wait to return next year!"
