  • Property exactly as seen in pics and described.

"Property is on main road to Joshua Tree West entrance but sits slightly back on property. Hot tub was great! Interior was very nice and kitchen worked well. We walked to the west gate entrance and walked to "The Maze" hike trail which was awesome. Overall this is an awesome place to stay if someone wants to either walk into Joshua tree or be close and drive into the park. Will definetly return."

  • Comforting and Cozy!

"Roadrunner Retreat is comfortable, cozy and very warm. I came here to celebrate my birthday for the weekend. I didn't want anything crazy, just some relaxation. This was the perfect spot, not only was the home perfect in every way but also the backyard view of the mountains, the clear skies, and also the night sky with almost reachable stars, the bbq and also the nice fire pit. The house sleeps 4 people but it was only 2 of us and it was great. Coming from L.A. and living in a very busy city where you're always in a rush, Roadrunner Retreat helped us slow down a bit and take in some desert nature and peace and quite. This cozy home gives you the vibe as if it is your own. Neighbors are quite as well, just a few minutes out from the home you have your local grocery store , local restaurants, mom and pop shops and also a hospital, and a CHP department. The important things are close enough which also gives you a sense of relaxation. Laurel and Don have made this home so comforting and beautiful for their guest to enjoy and I hope to come back soon. WE LOVED IT. To Laurel and Don, thank you so much for the special gift you surprised me with on my birthday, I was not expecting the gift at all, very sweet and kind of both of you. Thank you so much for sharing and providing such a comforting home."

  • Nice little cabin in the desert

"Came here in January, had a little campfire in the front yard. Beats the hotel for sure. About a 15min drive to the Joshua Tree NP. entrance."
