  • Even better than we expected!

"We enjoyed our short stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the property and loved the house even more. The owner's artistic touch was everywhere! We stayed in the winter and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace at night. Having a full kitchen was very helpful. This is the perfect location to relax at after a long day of bouldering in the park. It was very private and out of the way. The stars were beautiful without the ambient light if a city. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and the sunrise through the huge windows in the front room. My nine year old daughter loved it here! I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed."

  • Peaceful, Comfortable, Beautiful

"My wife and I spent a week in the Think Tank. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in to the house. The vistas were fantastic, especially from the hot tub. Miriam was a gracious host. We really enjoyed reading her "house binder". It contained info about the house, hikes in the area and entertaining reviews of local restaurants. The location of the house is exceptional. The hikes we took from "right out the door" were wonderful and we didn't see another person the whole time. The west entrance to Joshua Tree Nat'l Park is just minutes away and access to the other park areas (49 Palms, Indian Cove, etc.) are no more than a 20 minute drive. A great home and a relaxing vacation worth repeating."

  • Amazing place!

"The pictures don't do this place justice. Seriously, book it now! The kitchen has just about everything you need to cook (with nice wares and appliances, too). The bedrooms are perfectly cozy with plenty of extra blankets and sleeping bags. The bathrooms are nice and clean with beautifully tiled showers. The living room is full of fun instruments, a telescope, games and puzzles, incenses and oils and sage, books on meditation and philosophy, etc. It was like going on a retreat! The hot tub was great (though for the chlorine sensitive, like myself, maybe a tad too much ... it did bleach my swimsuit), but we were still glad to have it as the desert was cold! The outdoor fireplace was a lot of fun to use and the grounds of Eagle Om were great to walk and look at different plant life, view the mountains, take in the fresh air, etc. I can't say enough good things about Eagle Om. We were perfectly comfortable and felt totally at home. I would go back in a heartbeat."

  • Adorable Bungalow, Great Location!

"We were very impressed with the cleanliness and decor of the bungalow. From the festive lights outside to the amazing display of cacti out front and the cute 50's theme inside, we were very happy! The bungalow is a short walk to town, and a 5 minute drive to the entrance of park. Great stay...would definitely rent again!"
