  • The Becketti experience.

"Our family of 10 had a very nice week. The house was adequate and very comfortable. The upper deck was our gathering spot for casual talk and meals. Don't know what next year but if our vacation is as big as this year I would like"

  • Great reunion getaway

"Our family came to Pinecrest for a family reunion. It was the first time we had been in the area. The house is close to the Pincecrest Lake, a simple 7 mile drive. The kitchen was well stocked. All the appliances appeared new and worked great. The goody basket we arrived to was a welcome sight, a bottle of wine and other food items, great way to start the vacation off. There were plenty of DVDs to pick from, as one night we returned early and it was nice to watch a movie. Plenty of sleeping arrangements to accommodate our family of six. The only negative was the driveway: it was a bear to navigate, and this is in the summer. Wish there had been a parking option close to the house on the street. There was no cell service which made the teenagers crazy for the first hour, then they settled into it. Would definitely rent again."

  • You have found the perfect rental!

"When you rent a home from someone else, you expect there to be at least one aspect you don't like. That was not the case here. The house was clean, the location quiet, the beds were comfortable with warm comfy blankets, the shower pressure was good... There were a lot of board games and puzzles for us to play with the kids. All the ones we used still had all their pieces. Plus toys for varying ages. My two year old found quite a bit. We explored moaning caverns, Natural Bridges (It's a short hike to a river that runs through the earth, you can swim through a "cave" to the other side), Calaveras Big Trees and then we also drove up Hwy 4 further east to see the beauty that is Mosquito Lake and stopped at Lake Alpine on the way back for kayaking and a picnic. Wendy was also great to work with an obviously an experienced renter. We felt right at home as soon as walked in. We will be back for sure!"

  • A perfect peaceful get-a-way

"We could not have asked for a more peaceful place to stay. You will find quiet paths to beautiful gardens and stumble upon numerous seating areas for two... rustic garden chairs with pillows that will invite you to stop and breathe for a moment. We found ourselves staying around the cottage, enjoying the patios and gardens instead of spending the days wandering the small towns, which was our intention. The peace and quiet were too intoxicating and just what we needed. A true respite from our hectic daily lives. We will return to explore the gold country another time! The cottage was stocked with everything needed. Thanks Angela!"
