  • Great getaway home in a great area!

"We had a wonderful getaway week at Nick's Cabin. Beautiful cabin/home close to Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge ski area. The home is at the end of a quiet cul de sac - so no traffic rushing by. Set in the woods it feels like you are a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the bay area. The cabin has everything you will need and is very well cared for and clean. And the cabin is beautifully built - with a high ceilings and nice fireplace. The only issue you will have is fighting over who gets to stay in the beautiful upstairs loft! The cabin also has a wonderful back porch for BBQ - and winding down with a cocktail (or three!). Great cabin for kids as well - lots of beds and two full baths. Great cabin - highly recommended!"

  • Best Family Vacation

"We had such a great time at this cabin. We spent one day fishing at Alpine, we had some beer and horse shoe at the Lube Room and we went to Moaning Caverns for the first time. It was so much fun!!"

  • Super family friendly!

"We spent the weekend at your cabin with our 1-year old daughter, my parents, and my brother's family, which includes three kids under the age of 8. The house was perfect. Lots of space, and lots of fun things to do with kids of all ages. My nieces LOVED the pinball machine and ping pong table. We bbq'd one night and sat on the back patio, which was perfect. We drove up to Alpine Lake one of the days, so the cabin is in a great location. Overall, wonderful weekend. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

  • Love this place!

"There were 9 adults in our party. We came to Murphy's for a concert at Ironestone Vineyards. This beautiful "cottage" has breathtaking views, comfortable beds and just a great ambiance and feel! Plenty of room in the small kitchen to enjoy a decent size meal for 9 of us. We were here on a 100 degree weekend and all of us slept nicely, with the air conditioner and large ceiling fans, there is also a standing oscillating fan available. Good water pressure and plenty of linens, towels, etc. There is a small BBQ pit and charcoal available, but bring your own fire starting fluid. This lovely place is up in the mountains and out in the country, but you are still pretty close to town. Expect some small bugs, mosquitos and maybe a spider, so be prepared with some repellent. Other than that, this place is perfection! Three of us liked it so much, we stayed another night. Can't wait to come up for a romantic weekend with the hubby! The owners Rebecca and Gary are very nice, friendly and accommodating! Thanks you two, we will definately stay again!"
