  • Beautiful house. Attentive owner

"This was a beautiful and very comfortable house and the back porch supplied much needed relaxation. The neighborhood was fantastic for walks in the mornings. And its located within a short drive of the amador wineries. The owner was always responsive to our questions and concerns right away. Even when we had trouble with the dishwasher, the owner made arrangements to get our dishes washed so we didn't have to do them on our vacation. The only concern we had was the ac was programed to 80 degrees at night and locked and not allowed to go below 74. Once we got it straightened out we kept it at 74, but being from Colorado, we like it cooler, especially in the evenings. Overall a great stay."

  • Great place for family 😍

"My grandchildren (4&5) loved the tree fort with the slide and picnic table. They played for hours there. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for everyone. We had a lovely brunch which was made easier because of a fully supplied kitchen. Perfect location for Apple 🍎󣠠Hill wine 🍷󭰠and apple tasting. Thank you Suzy (owner) for responding so quickly to our questions. Fifteen minutes from highway 50."

  • Great layout for large family

"Loved the property! The property was perfect to comfortably accommodate our large family while affording great privacy at the same time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were located in such a way that everyone had their own space. The location was perfect and very easy to get to while still offering seclusion once arrived. Several deer visited every morning which made a perfect way to start the day. The owner,Thomas, was wonderful in his response time and very easy to contact. The kitchen could use a good detailed cleaning rather than just the touch up it seems to get between guests. We were disappointed that the patio furniture shown in the photos was reduced to a few pieces that had seen better days. That being said, with a little needed attention to detail, this property is a gem and highly recommended."

  • Very Relaxing

"We had a great stay! We brought 3 children with us, ages 6, 6, and 11. They were able to run and play on the grass, explore the property, and watch the wild turkeys and deer that occasionally roam in the yard. The cottage is very cozy and perfect for 6 people. The kitchen is stocked with more than enough utensils and cookware if you decide to stay in for an evening. We did visit a few wineries: TooGood, Mastroserio, and Skinner. Skinner had a beautiful view but they busy and we weren't able to get service. Mastroserio is very laid back and they have a couple of large dogs that roam the property (our boys loved them), and TooGood has the wine caves and barrel tasting. The Pub across the street has good food and it's a short walk from the property. We did venture into "town" to a little coffee shop that has great coffee and pastries, and later had dinner at the Gold Vine grill. All in all we had a great time. The only issue we had was with the cell service and the internet. We have a child with medical issues and we weren't able to get cell phone reception (absolute must) and the internet was extremely slow, but if you're looking to unplug and unwind this is the perfect place."
