  • Just loved this place for skiing and siteseeing

"Me and my wife and 3 year old son just loved this place, we went up on the 1st of January for a ski trip. The snow was pouring down and the view out the back windows into the meadows was amazing. We got to see people cross country askiiing and walking theire dogs, kids palying on the hill on their sleds. and my 3 year old son was super excited about the large snow plow pushing snow around in the street for snow clearing. He got to see the snow tractors grooming the trails out back and plenty of snomobiles going down the trails as well. the condo itself was great i thought, plenty of room for 2 families easily and i even notice that there was a sepreate entrance for the second family if you needed that but we didnt. our other party didnt show up whcih was fine with me becasue the quiet time was much needee for me . the place is Big confortable Big windows out the back for awsome winter or summer view.s beautiful setting. I will stay here again for sure no questions asked thats for sure. My wife doesnt ski and my 3 year old got burned out and basically didnt wanted to ski much so i was able to just walk out the door and walk up the street and jump on Solitude chair lift quickly. I even came back to the condo one midday and even took a 45 minute nap garb something to eat, then headed back to the chairlift at 230pm and got 10 more runs in. Need i say more, lol"

  • Wonderful Return Stay in Meadowstone Lodge

"This is the second summer we spent in Kirkwood at Meadowstone Lodge. We (and our children) had a wonderful time playing in the lakes, creeks, and hiking trails. One of the best features of Meadowstone Lodge is we could walk or bike with our children to the private Kirkwood playground or take the kids on evening bike rides to the along the biking trails and small creeks. My daughter learned to bike on downhill dirt trails at Kirkwood and my son enjoyed throwing rocks into the creek. At night the stars come alive and one can sit on either balcony with their feet up and search for shooting stars or just enjoy the incredible vastness of the universe. The stars are so bright you can literally see at night by starlight, even in the absence of moonlight. During warmer days you can open both balconies and revel in the cool breeze that permeates the home. We have fallen in love with Kirkwood and Meadowstone lodge has become our summer home for two years in a row now. We believe we have found a beautifully summer treasure and hope to return for many more adventures to come."

  • Great cabin & location

"If you want to spend a weekend at Kirkwood, this is the place to stay. We had a small work team outing on the mountain for the weekend and we absolutely loved this cabin. Plenty of space, great & well labeled kitchen, fantastic location, and the owners were a breeze to work with. Highly recommended."

  • Excellent place to stay

"Phil and Gary were great to work with - responsive and flexible. The apartment is as advertised and walking distance to the ski lift. You can ski (with enough snow) into one of the balconies! Just FYI - there is no washer/dryer in the unit, so pack accordingly."
