  • What a great family vacation!!

"We stayed at the ranch for a relaxing family vacation...me, my husband, our 2 daughters (each with a friend) and our dog. What a great place! The house is very nice...excellent condition...nice kitchen, great barbeque in the backyard and plenty of room for all of us! The entire property is very inviting and pleasant. Carrie (the owner) is super nice and very responsive! There is your own personal/private river access...we spent many days floating on the river near the property and if you want more space there is a great beach across the river. We also went river rafting with OARS company (right across the bridge) and had soooo much fun! What a great family vacation! We meant to go to nearby wineries and get out more...but enjoyed lounging by the river too much :-)"

  • Very Cute House

"Very cool house that was bigger than I would have thought. We just stayed as a couple, but it could have easily been comfortable with over 4 people. Thank you Connie!"

  • Dreamy!

"Looking for a peaceful retreat? This is your spot. How about a romantic bungalow? This is your spot. Need a cozy oasis close to the beautiful Yuba and nearby hiking trails? This is your spot. Want a place with old timey charm with all the benefits of updated and remodeled accommodations? This is your spot. This place truly delivers in so many ways. 3 seconds after walking through the rad front door, my boyfriend and I decided we never wanted to leave. I cannot wait to return! Joleen is a breeze to deal with and the whole experience (from booking to checking out) was so chill. It was exactly what two weary city folks needed :)"

  • Loved this Totally Charming Creekside Cabin!

"This cabin in the trees was a perfect hideaway for two (although the bunk bedroom had plenty of room for two more). The friendly owners, Scott and Janet, are great and they thought of everything we could need for a wonderful stay. It was clean and comfortably furnished, well stocked, and the decor was rustic and charming even better than the pictures! We enjoyed looking at the interesting pieces of history scattered throughout the cabin. My husband brought a little work so he appreciated the strong wi-fi. Because the cabin was private and tucked away in the trees we were pleasantly surprised how quick it was to drive to Nevada City. The trails throughout the beautiful grounds are meticulously maintained with seating scattered here and there so you can just sit and watch the river, or sit IN the river. Even though I took a spill that put an end to our exploring, (Janet kindly brought me an ice pack for the sprain) our getaway wasn't ruined because the view from the deck, the sound of the river, the comfy cabin, and the wonderful smell and beauty of the trees still made it a lovely trip. (no pun intended. :D) I keep talking about charm because it's one of the top things I hope to find when I travel and this cabin filled the bill. I almost don't want to keep saying how charmingly perfect this place and its owners are because y'all will want to book it up and we want to come back, lol! But it really was everything we were hoping for and we think others will love it too. Scott and Janet, thanks for sharing your beautiful property and cabin!"
