  • Loved this Totally Charming Creekside Cabin!

"This cabin in the trees was a perfect hideaway for two (although the bunk bedroom had plenty of room for two more). The friendly owners, Scott and Janet, are great and they thought of everything we could need for a wonderful stay. It was clean and comfortably furnished, well stocked, and the decor was rustic and charming even better than the pictures! We enjoyed looking at the interesting pieces of history scattered throughout the cabin. My husband brought a little work so he appreciated the strong wi-fi. Because the cabin was private and tucked away in the trees we were pleasantly surprised how quick it was to drive to Nevada City. The trails throughout the beautiful grounds are meticulously maintained with seating scattered here and there so you can just sit and watch the river, or sit IN the river. Even though I took a spill that put an end to our exploring, (Janet kindly brought me an ice pack for the sprain) our getaway wasn't ruined because the view from the deck, the sound of the river, the comfy cabin, and the wonderful smell and beauty of the trees still made it a lovely trip. (no pun intended. :D) I keep talking about charm because it's one of the top things I hope to find when I travel and this cabin filled the bill. I almost don't want to keep saying how charmingly perfect this place and its owners are because y'all will want to book it up and we want to come back, lol! But it really was everything we were hoping for and we think others will love it too. Scott and Janet, thanks for sharing your beautiful property and cabin!"

  • Easy and Clean!

"Me and 2 other couples stayed here for a wedding in Auburn. It was easy and so much nicer than staying in a hotel. Helga is very easy to work with! The house had everything you could need. Kitchen had all necessary appliances and was nice and big for everyone to be in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would rent this house again. Really made the weekend great!"

  • Perfect property for a family get together

"We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The house is very cute & charming and located in a serene environment on top of the hill. Plenty of parking spaces. It is well equipped with games, bedding, linen, toiletries, etc. We saw a family of deers close to the property. Owner is very thorough and quick in correspondences. NOTE: We had a bit of difficulty finding the exact location of the property using Waze (it was hard to find because we came in late at night). There's no issue locating the property using Google Map."

  • Wonderful place, great location

"We arrived after an 11 hour drive and was greeted kindly. We were giving a tour, instructions, and recommendations on where to eat, hike, and the best way to get to the wedding venue we were attending. The house was very comfortable and away from the main bustle of town. We were given fresh figs from their tree and enjoyed some peace and quiet before participating in the wedding ceremony. We wish we could have spent more time there and checked out the hiking trails. We strongly recommend and may return soon."
