  • Quality Getaway Condo!

"I've stayed several times in this condo and I will keep coming back! This condo is the perfect size for 1 to 4 people. The owner has furnished the condo with an upscale mountain cabin feel that offers quality throughout. The layout of the front room is equipped with a large tv and kitchen / eating area which allows for cooking, socializing, and relaxing to take place in a space that delivers comfort and quality. Wi-fi is easily accessible. The unit is well maintained and immaculate. The bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed coupled with a large tv, both of which are so nice to enjoy after a long day of hiking or skiing. I've stayed during the ski season and the summer and have found the unit to be quiet and peaceful. One thing that I really appreciate about this condo is that I never have to wait for the hot water to come on in the shower--hot water is there immediately. I highly recommend this condo -- it's been my first choice for a couple of years now!"

  • Great Location!

"This chalet is very close to slopes, yet removed enough to feel like you're staying at some hidden mountain retreat. The chalet was spacious with two good sized bedrooms downstairs and a bed/bath upstairs. The kitchen had almost everything you could require for cooking and/or entertaining - along with a full dining room area. The fireplace was excellent. It's great that firewood is provided. We found the beds to be comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided. The chalet appears to be in original condition - so it could use some interior upgrades. The carpet is pretty worn and there was a broken door in the kitchen and closet. Also it could benefit from some new furniture. I understand this is a mountain retreat, but the sofas in the living room were not comfortable. The location itself is great. It's close to everything, yet far enough away so that you feel like you're having a true mountain experience."

  • Just like home

"We had a wonderful visit. This rental has every convenience you could possibly need. We visited for a week in July with our three daughters and we let each of the girls bring a friend. Even with 2 adults and 6 kids we had more than enough space! We spent our days at local lakes , hiking and renting boats etc. and enjoyed the warm jacuzzis and heated pool in the evening. The kitchen was very well equipped and our tweets were very pleased with the internet speed . We will definitely come stay again!"

  • Close to shops, store and movie theater. Bright and sunny. Very clean.

"This is a great condo for the price. The four of us (2 kids 2 adults) had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The sunken living room has a south facing exposure and catches a great deal of awesome sunlight. The wood burning stove looked great but we did not use it as it was very warm during our stay. It is an older condo (possibly built in the late 70'S early 80's) but it is in great shaped has a good floor plan. The bathrooms and kitchen appear to be original so don't go looking for granite counters. Besides Mammoth has so many things to do that you won't be spending that much time in the condo. The only negative we could find was with the pans hanging in the kitchen. I realize its a rental unit and some people don't care for other peoples property but the teflon in all the pans looked like they had been blasted with a shotgun. Other than that our 7day summer trip was great. We lived in Mammoth in the early 90's (before kids) and we try to return twice a year, once in summer and once in winter. I would definitely rent this unit again if it were available."
