  • Beautiful and Clean

"The place was clean and dust free. All utensils were available for us to use which was great! Less clutter for us to haul in the vehicle. Anyways, It easily accommodated 10 people. There were enough towels and toiletries for our stay. Although we did bring our own but it was nice for them to provide them. The kitchen may have been small, but everyone was easily able to work around the small space without an issue. The owner was attentive and prompt in responding to our needs and concerns. My company and I felt at ease knowing that this place is well taken care of and that the owner is quick to communicate. Also worth mentioning is the area. It's within walking distance to Vons which I guarantee you will need to make a trip to at some point during your stay. All in all, we're booking again next year!"

  • Comfortable Lodging in a Convenient Location !!

"My husband and I shared the condo for five nights with four others on Re our Bay Area hiking group’s annual Easter Sierra hike week. The price was right; the condo was very conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The ample parking area was a plus, as we had three cars. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. One guest was very delighted to have the spacious loft as his very own private retreat. The kitchen table fit the six of us for our morning breakfasts and night-in spaghetti dinner. The kitchen was well stocked, though our salad chef regretted not having a large salad bowl on hand; she made do with two bowls. Another guest regretted the absence of a whisk for the eggs in her chocolate cake. One complaint that our upstairs guests had was that the shower water drained so slowly from the bathtub that they were in standing water for about ten minutes each time. They mostly used the downstairs bath for showers. As we were there in August, the condo heated up quite a lot in the afternoons, especially the west-facing bedrooms. We learned to close all windows and blinds in the morning before leaving for our hikes and opening them in the evening when the air was cool. We missed having a screen in the kitchen window so that we could have more ventilation. The location was quiet and in a nice location overlooking the local park. We enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to make a return visit and recommend it to our fellow hikers! Rebecca C."

  • Great getaway with the family

"We had a nice vacation with another family. Was spacious and clean! Very close to Vons and in-town shops. Hope to come back next summer and would recommend this place to others."

  • Spacious condo for multigenerational family; convenient location

"Had a great stay at this condo! We were 6 people, ranging in age from 7 to 75, and there was plenty of room in this comfortable condo. Once my mom had entered the condo (there is one flight of stairs before you enter) she didn't have to use any more stairs; the main floor bedroom and bathroom meant that everything she needed was on the same floor. We and our three kids had more than enough space on the second floor, with two bedrooms, a loft, and a bathroom. The living room was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi during our stay, but they were a short walk across a (small) parking lot. The manager's office was also directly across the parking lot, and the manager was both friendly and helpful during our stay. Probably the best thing about this condo was the location! There is a lovely playground/park just a very short walk from the condo, which was great for our seven-year old. From the park, there is a trailhead for a nice hike that takes you past a stream. You can also easily walk into Mammoth Village from this same park, with shops and restaurants (we especially liked the Monkey Bar) to explore. Particularly convenient for us was the 24-hour Von's that was about a one-mile drive from the condo; this made meal-preparation easy at it was only a short distance to pick up additional supplies. Driving from the condo was easy, and there are lots of sites to see within an easy drive; while staying at the condo we visitted Hot Creek, Bodie, Mono Lake, Mammoth Adventure Center (with shuttle service to Devil's Postpile, and gondolas to the top of Mammoth Peak), Lake Mary, Twin Lakes; most were within a 20-minute drive, Bodie was the furthest away and took about an hour. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return."
