  • Great Summer Vacation!

"We had a great summer vacation up in Mammoth. We caught a lot of fish and the weather was great. I did not rate the condo a five star do to a few things. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues, like someone in our party, you will find all the stairs as a challenge! Although they have a combo washer and dryer it does not work that well. The pools were cold and the spa wasn't hot enough until the last day of our trip. I guess the property engineer was off and so were the heaters! We had to use our coolers to keep drinks cold as the fridge would not cool down enough even though it was turned all the way down. The upstairs master bedroom was extremely hot at night which made it difficult to sleep. A fan would have really helped. if they address a few things, this rental would easily have been a five star property... Oh yes they had NO wine glasses... OK off the negative and on to the positive... The house was well worth the price they offered me! It was clean and well updated. The location was great for getting around and nice paths to walk. The building we were in was very peaceful and very few tenants were in. All in all it was a good week and we were sorry to see it end! If you go up in winter this unit would be perfect due to its proximity to the ski lifts...."

  • A great and convenient place to stay in Mammoth Lakes

"My husband, myself and 3 other friends stayed here as a base camp as we acclimated in the mountains for our 6 day trek on the John Muir Trail going northbound from Agnew Meadows to Yosemite. Keith, the owner, was extremely responsive to any questions I had prior to our getting there. The place was just right for all of us! The upstairs has 3 beds, which made it ideal for our 3 hiking partners and they had their own bathroom up there, too. The master bedroom downstairs was very roomy, with a great closet and an adjoining bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped and as we cooked in a lot, this was ideal. I love having all the right kitchen tools, cookware, and serving ware...and this place had it all. There is laundry facilities on the property. Yes, you need to pay, but it is minimal and very convenient, which we loved when we returned from our backpacking trip..much in need of cleaning our very dirty clothes! It was also very convenient to the main grocery store-within walking distance, as well as restaurants, sports stores and more. It really was just the right place for us. We stayed there a week plus a couple days before our trek, and kept it while we were gone and felt completely safe leaving our stuff there while we hiked the trail. It was nice to come back to a comfy place once we finished our backpacking trip with a couple of days to recover before we left for our home places! I would highly recommend this 1 bedroom plus loft condo for your Mammoth Lakes stay!"
