  • Super location. Helpful owner.

"Liked everything about this unit. Hard to find a better value at Mammoth for two couples. Bus to godola, right out front. Parking was excellent, with enough clearance for our Outlander with a ski box on top. Ski locker close to parking spot. After booking unit, owner kept in contact even sending discount pass information. Owner works hard to make sure you have everything you need including local information. Had one incident where the neighbours did a poor job of starting a fire and set off the smoke alarm. Matter quickly resolved by cond owners daughter, who also lives in building. Took an after ski drive to Wild Willie's hot springs. As with most wild hot springs a very bohemian experience. Lots of friendly interesting people there. Well worth the drive and hike. Bring thongs or sandals. and extra towels. Two frugal foreign couples found this unit to be an excellent value and we could ask for nothing more. (except more towels :)"

  • Central location in town

"Doug's Timberline condo is conveniently located in town just 2 minutes from Vons. The two story unit is perfect for a family with the bedrooms downstairs along with a bathroom. Upstairs is the family room, kitchen, dining room and another bathroom, giving everyone plenty of room. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Doug's response to my inquiry was quick, which is a big help when you are trying to book a place. Thanks Doug, we will definitely rent your place again."

  • Great Location!

"This chalet is very close to slopes, yet removed enough to feel like you're staying at some hidden mountain retreat. The chalet was spacious with two good sized bedrooms downstairs and a bed/bath upstairs. The kitchen had almost everything you could require for cooking and/or entertaining - along with a full dining room area. The fireplace was excellent. It's great that firewood is provided. We found the beds to be comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided. The chalet appears to be in original condition - so it could use some interior upgrades. The carpet is pretty worn and there was a broken door in the kitchen and closet. Also it could benefit from some new furniture. I understand this is a mountain retreat, but the sofas in the living room were not comfortable. The location itself is great. It's close to everything, yet far enough away so that you feel like you're having a true mountain experience."
