Recent Mammoth Lakes reviews

  • Couldn't have asked for a better experience with VRBO

"The other reviews are spot on and don't leave much else for me to say. Very responsive and the location is fantastic. There is a Mexican market across the street and plenty of other food options, Rite Aid is a 5 minute walk, and rental locations are a 7 minute walk on the way to one of the multiple shuttle stops. I will definitely look to book this place again on my next trip to Mammoth."

  • Great location and amenities

"Great 1 bedroom / 1 bath condo in the heart of the village. Clean and well maintained. Comfortable king bed with pull out sleeper/sofa. 2 flat screen tv's with direct tv cable. Balcony off the back of the units. Excellent access to village amenities including pool/spa, restaurants, purchase lift tickets, gondola to Canyon Lodge, ski locker and private underground parking. Easy pickup and drop off of keys and parking pass. TV / cable can be a touch tricky if not familiar (a manual would be helpful for less technical guests). All in all, great value!"

  • Comfortable, upscale condo

"I shared this condo with friends in March. Even though I had the smallest bedroom by the front door, it was quiet and comfortable. All of us appreciated the queen beds. There were five of us total and we each enjoyed our bedrooms. With two baths downstairs and one up, getting ready was pretty efficient. The owner has put a great deal of thought into the design and furnishings. Everything is so comfortable...and new and well made! That's unusual in Mammoth where so many of the condos are weekend getaways for Los Angeles families who furnish them with old furniture. It is obvious that this is not a party house, unless your party includes smart cocktails and sophisticated people (not really us, but we felt that way during our stay). The location is extremely convenient. You can walk to the Village, the Westin, or the town gondola in about five minutes or less. The shuttle bus from the resort drops you off about half-a-block away from the unit. We parked the car the day we arrived and didn't move it until we left four days later. This condo was a great place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of skiing. If it's available, snap it up."
