  • 5 Stars isn't enough for this jewel at Mammoth

"My husband & I booked this as a getaway for a 4 day stay over the 4th. The condo is just as gorgeous as it looks, and oh so comfortable! The owners are attentive, and easy to reach if you have any questions-- both pre-stay & during! Thanks, Jake!!! You rock!! I gourmet cook so the kitchen was a dream -- everything is upscale: Kitchenaid & Bosch appliances. Coffee maker with a timer, and 14 cup capacity! Food processor, heavy duty blender. Wine glasses for every vintage. Lovely set of lodge dishes, and flatware. 5 cupboards of every type of cookware, bakeware, pots, pans, drawers of utensils. Wow! We dined in style each night & breakfast, too! We loved the summer mountain breezes wafting through. The huge fan mounted on the ceiling with remote control kept us cool & comfy. Evenings we snuggled under comforters for perfect sleep. Loved the fireplace with the upscale Dimplex firebox. Perfect ambiance while sipping our wine & talking about our day. The handy combination lock storage device for the keys is genius -- wondering why more owners don't employ the same method. The 2 car slot with underground garage is so convenient -- easy to unload and load up for the day. Just a few steps down is a lovely deck with heated pool. A few steps up is the hot tub. Perfect for under the stars de-stressing. A tad bit over a mile is town with tons of restaurants & shops. There is also Vons -- a great grocery store that caters to both gourmet and those on a budget (ask the manager for their discount card -- voila! You'll save more!) During our stay we toured June Lake, Silver Lake, George Lake. We toured the Faultline park -- so interesting. Then we toured Mammoth's many features -- parking the car, then taking the bus up to Devil's Postpile -- where we hiked and took in the sights. We also took the cable car up to the summit -- on July 4th to watch the revelers take the "last ski" -- if you haven't seen the celebration, it is a sight! Music, laughter, dancing, and ski wear you wouldn't believe! While we aren't, if you are a mountain biker, this whole area would be a mecca! I could go on. Obviously, you won't be disappointed!!"

  • Brilliant Place to Stay in Mammoth

"My fiancee and I stayed here for our first trip to Mammoth and it was brilliant - nothing negative to report back. We would certainly consider renting again for a return trip this coming winter. The very helpful and responsive owners helped us navigate the town, informed us of where to rent equipment, and shared some local places to eat. This until is located steps from the village gondola, shops, and restaurants. You get the convenience and experience of the Westin Monache, without the absurd premium that Starwood charges for the room. You also get access the the free coffee they put out in the lobby in the morning - and the hot chocolate in the afternoon. This is a great suite with everything you need for a nice, easy stay. The bed is comfortable, the view of the mountains is great, and the window seat is a pleasant place to take it all in after a day on the hill. It is also great to fall asleep to the fire, which is gas-burning and on a timer, so no need to worry about setting the place ablaze. If you're going to have a car, a great feature of this unit is the underground parking, especially if you're going in the winter. There is no need to deal with shoveling off your vehicle for a quick trip down the mountain or away from the village. It also affords you the option of being able to make trips away from the village without hassle - no need to worry about cabs or buses."

  • Perfect Location

"We've been staying at Mammoth Mountain Chalets for several years now. It's always a great experience. This time, we chose to stay in Chalet #4, which is one of the larger chalets. What it difference it made. The chalet had plenty of space for our family to spread out. It was well-equipped and perfectly located within the community. The ability to ski in/out at Mammoth Main Lodge is truly a privilege. The management is always very kind and accommodating. We will probably ALWAYS stay at Mammoth Mountain Chalets for as long as we continue to visit Mammoth. Thank you for another great experience."

  • Awesome!

"Epic location, unit is cozy with some really nice features, and we received thorough and quick responses for all inquiries. Kelli / property mgmt team are just awesome! Our kids got to ride in the snow cat, and Kelli called us the next day to confirm they went...I mean, how great is that! I love the extra customer service aspect offered at Mammoth Mountain Chalets. They have the program dialed. We have stayed all over Mammoth, and this by far, was the best experience! We will be back again!!"
