  • Comfortable, upscale condo

"I shared this condo with friends in March. Even though I had the smallest bedroom by the front door, it was quiet and comfortable. All of us appreciated the queen beds. There were five of us total and we each enjoyed our bedrooms. With two baths downstairs and one up, getting ready was pretty efficient. The owner has put a great deal of thought into the design and furnishings. Everything is so comfortable...and new and well made! That's unusual in Mammoth where so many of the condos are weekend getaways for Los Angeles families who furnish them with old furniture. It is obvious that this is not a party house, unless your party includes smart cocktails and sophisticated people (not really us, but we felt that way during our stay). The location is extremely convenient. You can walk to the Village, the Westin, or the town gondola in about five minutes or less. The shuttle bus from the resort drops you off about half-a-block away from the unit. We parked the car the day we arrived and didn't move it until we left four days later. This condo was a great place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day of skiing. If it's available, snap it up."

  • Exactly as Described

"I stayed at the property for three nights in August and had a wonderful experience. This truly is a quiet corner unit with great views of Mammoth mountain. I did not experience any issues. The underground parking was convenient and easily accessible. The balcony was a bonus. You can sit outside and take in the unobstructed views of the mountains. Concerns I had prior to my visit that turned out to be non-issues: 1. I was concerned about giving my credit card information given all the warnings VRBO posts. No problems with Jerry. 2. While I like pets, I was concerned that maybe the property would have pet "residue." Not at all. The unit is very clean. 3. Very few properties at Mammoth have A/C. This property does, which was great for the summer heat."

  • Perfect for a small family

"This is the second year in a row my family and I have stayed at this condo. I gave my wife the option of staying anywhere in Mammoth this year and she still picked this condo. The unit is perfect for a small family and as another review noted, there are plenty of sleeping area (the Murphy bed is super comfortable) and sitting area. The couch is perfect to sink into after a long day on the slopes, or just plop down to watch TV or read a book. Kitchen has all the amenities to make a meal; we bought groceries for the week and made dinner every night. Yes, the kitchen is a little older and on the smaller side, but it's still functional. There is no garbage disposal but you can just throw the scraps away before washing the dishes. There's wifi and cable but no dvd player, at least I didn't see one. The radiant heaters work great and kept the condo nice and warm. There's a wood-burning fireplace for added warmth if needed, just purchase wood at the grocery store. The condo is walking distance to Eagle Lodge if you're inclined for a short walk. I have a toddler and all his gear, so we ended up driving to the Main Lodge anyway. We didn't bring our dog this year, but the condo is pet friendly. There are only a few drawbacks I can think of but they didn't make our stay any less enjoyable: 1) parking is in another building but it's underground and only a short walk; 2) condo can use just a tad bit more lighting, and 3)we couldn't find the key to access the pool/spa area. Craig is a pleasure to work with and responds quickly. When I realized I didn't have the access code for the door, I emailed Craig who responded promptly even though he was away overseas. I'd recommend this condo for couples and small families. We will be definitely be back next year!"

  • Great Condo in the Village!

"What an amazing condo! We just got back from our five day stay in July 2016. Condo highlights included beautiful Sherwin Mountain views, convenience of the amenities in the village and a well kept condo interior that felt like home away from home. My wife and I stayed in this condo in July 2016 with our 2 small children and it fit our family more than comfortably. The condo is much nicer than the pictures may suggest (the photos were fairly limited). The furnishings were all in great shape, the bathrooms all well kept and clean (equivalent to a nice hotel) and the kitchen well stocked to allow for cooking. Both bedrooms are furnished nicely and have plenty of room for luggage. Having two separate bathrooms definitely came in handy with our family. While, we didn't use the pull-out bed on the couch in the living room, I'm sure that could prove useful as well. Overall, the condo was spacious and would work out great for a family, or two couples wanting a get-away (since the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the living room). This condo served as a great home base for our summer adventures in Mammoth. The main room of the condo has large windows that welcome the morning sun, a great way to kick off our mornings. Our friends had rented a place up the road and they became instantly jealous when they came to visit us in the village. This condo become the home base for all of our evenings out in the village. One of our favorite things was to just sit on the balcony in the afternoon with a glass of wine and some snacks before walking to dinner in the village. The balcony easily fits four or five adults comfortably to enjoy the surrounding views. It was a great little spot to post up before dinner. The condo allowed access to the main Village pool, jacuzzis and barbeques, which was awesome. We even found a hidden away Jacuzzi in the fitness center, which never seemed to have anyone in it. Both the property manager and owner were prompt to respond. Overall, great customer service from both the owner and property manager. All in all, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any of my friends."
