  • Great Mammoth getaway

"The place was amazing. Very spacious and everything you need to enjoy yourself for a short stay. Nearby everything so we got to spend most our time skiing the mountain. Would highly recommend!"

  • Brilliant Place to Stay in Mammoth

"My fiancee and I stayed here for our first trip to Mammoth and it was brilliant - nothing negative to report back. We would certainly consider renting again for a return trip this coming winter. The very helpful and responsive owners helped us navigate the town, informed us of where to rent equipment, and shared some local places to eat. This until is located steps from the village gondola, shops, and restaurants. You get the convenience and experience of the Westin Monache, without the absurd premium that Starwood charges for the room. You also get access the the free coffee they put out in the lobby in the morning - and the hot chocolate in the afternoon. This is a great suite with everything you need for a nice, easy stay. The bed is comfortable, the view of the mountains is great, and the window seat is a pleasant place to take it all in after a day on the hill. It is also great to fall asleep to the fire, which is gas-burning and on a timer, so no need to worry about setting the place ablaze. If you're going to have a car, a great feature of this unit is the underground parking, especially if you're going in the winter. There is no need to deal with shoveling off your vehicle for a quick trip down the mountain or away from the village. It also affords you the option of being able to make trips away from the village without hassle - no need to worry about cabs or buses."

  • Carol is AMAZING

"Carol went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The studio was in immaculate condition and in one of the most beautiful & convenient hotels in Mammoth. The studio was cozy with a large window seat overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains on the top floor. Great fireplace to warm your wet ski gear and perfect kitchenette to make meals. Carol was incredibly helpful with getting lift tickets. Working with Carol made the trip feel like we really made a connection to Mammoth and we can't wait to return and will absolutely call her first when making our hotel accommodations. This is one of the best rooms in the Westin on the top floor-views, quiet and cozy."

  • Cozy little place

"On a whim, we decided to go to Mammoth for my 40th birthday with my family. Jeff's place was available at a decent price so I jumped on it. For the smallish size condo, you get a very well organized and set up place with everything you could possibly need. In fact, the use of space was impressive and made it feel like a bigger place than it was. It was clean, with plenty of towels and linens. It easily sleeps four, but if you're family or don't mind close quarters I'd say it is worth asking the owner if you have an extra adult (the couches are huge). That's the other thing about this place: you get to work directly with the owner, not some management company. Jeff was very accommodating, flexible and responsive (and a super nice guy who we ran into at the jacuzzi). This was especially important for us for check-in and check-out since we were coming up with a 2 year old, and my older parents and sister who don't ski. Only downsides I could think of was that the carpet could use an upgrade and there were a few spots near the edges where the nails holding it down were poking through a bit. Also, the dining chairs and tables could use a little tightening up as they were wobbly (as a toddler father, you notice these things). In summary, this is a homey place with everything you need for a comfortable Mammoth trip, including a wood stove, wifi, the jacuzzi just a few doors down, easy access to Mammoth Mountain (Canyon lodge), etc. If you're looking for luxury, it might not be a fit for you; otherwise it is a very convenient and comfortable place with just about everything you can ask for (we brought up our own coffee grinder but didn't need to!)."
