  • Perfect for a small family

"This is the second year in a row my family and I have stayed at this condo. I gave my wife the option of staying anywhere in Mammoth this year and she still picked this condo. The unit is perfect for a small family and as another review noted, there are plenty of sleeping area (the Murphy bed is super comfortable) and sitting area. The couch is perfect to sink into after a long day on the slopes, or just plop down to watch TV or read a book. Kitchen has all the amenities to make a meal; we bought groceries for the week and made dinner every night. Yes, the kitchen is a little older and on the smaller side, but it's still functional. There is no garbage disposal but you can just throw the scraps away before washing the dishes. There's wifi and cable but no dvd player, at least I didn't see one. The radiant heaters work great and kept the condo nice and warm. There's a wood-burning fireplace for added warmth if needed, just purchase wood at the grocery store. The condo is walking distance to Eagle Lodge if you're inclined for a short walk. I have a toddler and all his gear, so we ended up driving to the Main Lodge anyway. We didn't bring our dog this year, but the condo is pet friendly. There are only a few drawbacks I can think of but they didn't make our stay any less enjoyable: 1) parking is in another building but it's underground and only a short walk; 2) condo can use just a tad bit more lighting, and 3)we couldn't find the key to access the pool/spa area. Craig is a pleasure to work with and responds quickly. When I realized I didn't have the access code for the door, I emailed Craig who responded promptly even though he was away overseas. I'd recommend this condo for couples and small families. We will be definitely be back next year!"

  • Fantastic

"Kellie and Jim have made coming to Mammoth so easy and relaxing. The property and experience was wonderful. Can't wait to get back, but going to miss our Clevi Chalet #9! Marty & Claire Standish"

  • Awesome, modern, convenient.

"This condo was fantastic for my family of 4. This should be advertised as a 3 bedroom but the loft bedroom doesn't have a closet. My wife usually has a hard time sleeping in hotel and VRBO beds but the beds here were comfy and she had a good sleep. It's a 2nd floor, corner unit, so it has high ceilings and a view of the mountains while watching TV and 2 balconies overlooking the jaccuzi. Plenty of room, modern baths and kitchen with granite countertops and everything you need if you want to cook. When eating out, it's 3 minutes to the Village or many restaurants on Old Mammoth Road. 2 minutes to Vons. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and cooking gear you would expect as well as the little stuff like corkscrews, etc. I usually forget to bring and it saves you a trip to the store. High quality toaster oven, blender, coffee maker. The soaps, towels and amenities are hotel-like. Laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid and Cascade are provided. It's turnkey. It is stocked with board games and a poker chip set - in the chest of drawers under the stairs. My boys learned how to play poker here! There are 4 TV's and a few DVD players. The main TV is a smart TV, so we could watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. at night. The other 3 may also be smart tv's but we didn't watch them so can't comment on those. Overall, a winner! We had a great vacation! I will definitely stay here again next time!"

  • “The Grand Sierra Lodge”

"Mammoth is a place of special moments and we have created many of ours here. My Family and I have spent 4 snow seasons in “your” home away from home. Anticipation makes it hard for me to get here. After enjoying the time anticipation makes it difficult to leave. It's all about creating new memories , time well spent with family and friends. This season was very special because I met up with 2 childhood friends that I haven't seen one for 10 years and the other 25 years. We skied, took pictures, short movie clips and enjoyed our time! After a day of skiing and amazing views we headed down to a great choice of restaurants. Our personal favorite was to go to the local grocery store and cook up our favorite meals in the full kitchen which was very convenient and homey. After dinner we would go down to the jacuzzi and relax under the stars , head back up and settle in to a cozy living room and fire, make popcorn and relax some more. The rooms are very comfortable and easy to get a good night sleep after a fun, memory making day. We would wake up early: go to the gym or just relax and have breakfast. Out to the mountain and do it again. We highly recommend this cozy condominium to anyway who wants to get away from it all and feel right at home. We are already anticipating our 5th season 2017! The Silva's"
