  • Sugar Pine

"This year was the first time we booked a cabin and we were so nervous to be uncomfortable, but Sugar Pine Cabin felt like home! We had such an amazing time there the kids loved the loft and the game room. The owners gave us complete instructions on everything which made it so much easier for us. We are definitely planning on going back again!"

  • Perfect getaway

"My husband and I, along with our dog, stayed here for a short getaway. The cabin is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed exploring the area, especially Pinecrest Lake, a short 20-minute drive east on Highway 108. The nearby town of Twain Harte is very cute and has good restaurants. Leslie was super to work with throughout the whole process and, when there was a possibility we were not going to be able to come on our booked dates, she was very patient and kind, holding the cabin for us until we confirmed we could keep our reservation. All in all a great experience and we were very pleased when we arrived and saw that the cabin was so nice. The added bonus was that we could bring our dog. We would definitely stay here again."

  • This should be the new standard of glamping, Home in the woods.

"The driveway was a little rough & you have to look carefully to find the turn off. Also to follow the arrows because it is truly a home in the woods with multiple paths into those woods. Inside was very clean and vermin free. The pictures don't do justice as to how large the space is. The amenities and television were also a plus. Woods to explore around the house. We rented a boat, fished and swam in Pinecrest lake (20 min away). We also went horseback riding at Aspen Meadows Pack station (33 min away) at a affordable price. We consider ourselves campers for a long time, but as I get older I knew I needed more comfort. I tried glamping in a bungalow, eh, it was ok. This, this was great. I spoke to the owner about how we wanted to bring our fire pit and the logistics of how we would take care, and he allowed it. It made for great evenings."

  • Clean & comfortable

"Nice, clean, comfortable. Very relaxing getaway! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, etc. Large supply of board games. Nice deck area with table to eat outside. About a 15 min drive to PineCrest Lake."
