  • Cute and cost effective place to stay in Grass Valley

"My wife and I needed a last minute place to stay in GV while we finish up plans to buy a house. Luckily Francis and Nancy's studio was still available. What a great find. I do a lot of VRBO rentals and the things I appreciate are exactly what Francis and Nancy provided: 1) was immaculate. 2) good condition...this unit was recently renovated and in great shape 3) attention to's the little things like having things labelled, having half and half in the fridge and coffee options on the counter and 4) quiet and privacy. Put that all together with a great rental rate and what more could you want. I would rent again in a second :-)"

  • A beautiful refuge!

"Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us if only for a week. We were close to Live Oaks where my grandchild graduated. Grass Valley was close for diversion. But best of all was the comfort of the Little Victorian! We want to return next year when other child graduates from Ghidotti!"

  • Lovely Weekend at Lake Wildwood

"We recently had a wedding at Lake Wildwood, we have a home there but needed space for extra guest. The grooms parents, the groom and his friends had a great weekend, the house was clean with a great lake view. Everyone thought they may like to come again when they could relax a little more and enjoy the area. I may put people in my house and stay at the VRBO myself!"

  • Great cabin on beautiful property

"My wife and 6-month-old daughter holed up here for three nights this summer. The cabin was very cozy, clean and comfortable with a great little deck. But what really sold the place for us was the gorgeous 8+-acre property we had access to. It included beautifully maintained trails and a great creekside campsite/lounging area. Scott and Janet live next door and were there to greet us, but otherwise gave us sufficient space. Three relatively minor things that I thought needed some improvement: updated kitchen utensils (especially the knives), a gas grill (rather than charcoal) and more comfortable deck chairs. Otherwise, this was a pretty great find. We definitely hope to return."
