  • Great location!

"I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a cozy cabin in a great location! I had the best experience working with Valerie. She was quick to respond to emails and always available for questions when I called. The cabin was neat and very clean! Great location to South Lake Tahoe attractions. Perfect for hiking, a day at the lake, or walking around South Lake Tahoe and just taking in the sights. This cabin was in the perfect location close enough to anything we needed but far enough away from all of the congestion of the holiday weekend. I will definitely be back!! Overall it was a very pleasant experience."

  • Great location & comforable lodging!

"We had a lovely autumn visit to the foothills, such a great time to go. The cabin is in an ideal location, halfway up the pass, making it easy to go down to trek along Hwy 49 to historic sites or wineries, or up for more rustic endeavors in the El Dorado Forest, Silver Lake or Kirkwood during ski season. The "cabin" has generous space (huge!) and privacy from neighbors. My son enjoyed playing trucks in the dirt and riding his scooter in the driveway. Inside was spacious as well with comfy sofas and beds to accommodate many. We definitely recommend this place!"

  • Secluded Cabin in the Woods

"Great place to take your pets and launch day trips from. The dogs and I went to Utica Reservoir, Highland Lake, and Wheeler Ridge. (Make sure you have good suspension for the first two. The roads are rough.) We also drove over to Markleeville one day and down to Murphys another to give our feet a rest. The cabin was comfortable and clean and far away from everyone. The short hike to the meadow nearby was a highlight with bunches of wildflowers and a bit of water in the creek for the dogs to play in. We've been home for two days and the dogs are still sulking."
