  • Great summer rental in village

"Unit was well taken care of and clean. Owners were responsive. We enjoyed the amenities in the village from a quick coffee at Starbucks to an after dinner game of Bocce at the Italian restaurant. Many choices for fun during the day from nearby hiking to an afternoon dip in the village swimming pool. Mountain biking was great with nearby convenient bike rentals, shuttle pickup, and the downtown trail literally ending at the village itself."

  • Awesome House!

"March 20, 2016. We just arrived home from our 2nd stay in this amazing house! We spent the weekend there with a few families from our neighborhood. The house is extremely spacious but even with a large group it amazingly never felt crowded. There are plenty of beds and rooms for everyone if they need privacy. The kids all like to stay in the one large bunkroom off the kitchen, which we now all refer to as the 'orphanage room', in the most endearing way. The kitchen and living areas are great. Lots of appliances, dishes, cups and silverware. There are 2 large kitchen tables so you can feed lots of hungry people all at once. The game room downstairs is a great place to chill. There is a ping pong table and large screen TV. After our day on the slopes on Saturday, we came back to the house and the kids made a big sledding hill. There was so much snow they started at the kitchen window. Everyone had fun playing with the snowshoes and cross country skis. Some of our party did not want to ride the mountain on Sunday but stayed at the cabin and played with all the toys. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Kirkwood."

  • Close to shops, store and movie theater. Bright and sunny. Very clean.

"This is a great condo for the price. The four of us (2 kids 2 adults) had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The sunken living room has a south facing exposure and catches a great deal of awesome sunlight. The wood burning stove looked great but we did not use it as it was very warm during our stay. It is an older condo (possibly built in the late 70'S early 80's) but it is in great shaped has a good floor plan. The bathrooms and kitchen appear to be original so don't go looking for granite counters. Besides Mammoth has so many things to do that you won't be spending that much time in the condo. The only negative we could find was with the pans hanging in the kitchen. I realize its a rental unit and some people don't care for other peoples property but the teflon in all the pans looked like they had been blasted with a shotgun. Other than that our 7day summer trip was great. We lived in Mammoth in the early 90's (before kids) and we try to return twice a year, once in summer and once in winter. I would definitely rent this unit again if it were available."

  • Charming cabin in Camp Nelson

"Our stay at Lisa's Camp Nelson cabin was just perfect! We wanted to see the giant Sequoia trees without going into the National Park and saw many beautiful trees and other sights close by! The cabin was so comfortable and welcoming and amazingly clean. Sitting on the front deck in the morning and evening was so enjoyable with the view of Slate Mountain and mountain smells and noises. I enjoyed seeing many butterflies in the area and hummingbirds. The little village of Camp Nelson is so quaint and all of the locals were so friendly as we walked around the neighborhood. We would love to stay again for a longer period of time. Thanks Lisa for sharing your cabin!"
