  • Beautiful home in a beautiful location!

"We stayed here for a girls trip to Sequoia National Park and we could not have been happier with where we picked to stay that we wish we could have stayed longer! Mary and Gary's home was exactly like the pictures if not even better than the pictures. It was extremely clean and ready and even had some goodies waiting for us upon our arrival! We had a long drive and Mary checked in to make sure we arrived and that was really appreciated. Thank you for opening your home to us and we definitely reccomend it to anyone looking to stay!"

  • Maryam Larian

"This house is MAGICAL hideaway. We just had a 3 day stay with 2 other families. We were all looking for a sanctuary to decompress from city life and this is exactly what this house provided us with. It's close to markets, a few restaurants there are in three rivers and also easily accessible to Sequioa National Park. All the rooms were wonderful. We rented the entire house. Every single room has been weaved with so much love, the details, the decor. The house was spotless and well maintained. There is a full kitchen in the upper suite and BBQ on the porch for cooking. Greg & Lona were lovely and so accommodating and pleasant to converse with. I'd love to come back and stay there again!"

  • Epitome of a 'log cabin'

"If you want the truest example of a comfy log cabin this is it. But, it's got all the latest amenities so your pampered the entire time with no inconveniences an old log cabin can sometimes bring. Mimi welcomes everyone with a gift basket and welcoming accoutrements that makes it special. Best VRBO rental experience I've ever had and they are usually all top-notch. Brian Sweet"

  • Retreat in nature

"We really enjoyed our stay at the North Fork River Ranch House. Steve allowed us to enter an hour earlier than the usual check in time and everything was ready for us. The house was exactly as it looked in the photos, had everything we needed, and was clean. It was the view of the river, however, that really won our hearts. It was so beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. At night, all we could hear were the crickets, the owls, and the river flowing. There is a neighbor next door, but his home was not really visible from the house, and he was so quiet, it was as if he weren't there. The ranch house is close to the Sequoia National Forest, so we spent a couple of days hiking. On the last day, we decided to just relax and enjoy the river. There were all kinds of things available at the house to amuse us. We chose to play horseshoes, as there is a horseshoe pit on the property. All in all, it was a wonderful retreat and a great chance to get away from the noise, traffic, and chaos of the city."
