  • Awesome property

"A great property with lot of rooms, fun and facilities. Four TVs in Living room, Game room, Master bed and Kids room. Enough linens for our party of 16. Note: None of them have any gaming console or cable connections. In a way it was good to stay away from TV so we did not ask either. Kitchen was full of utensils, appliances including waffle maker and a lot more. Deck has a good grill with Gas cylinder. garage had one ping pong table folded. We enjoyed the pool table in game room most of the time, although there is an option to convert it into ping pong table too. Fireplace was very hard to turn on and off, the remote did not work. We went during winter and enjoyued China peak ski resort which is about 25 min drive. The drive is beautiful with lake and many sledging areas on the way. Overall, great property, location and fun stay."

  • Very clean, loved all the natural light and the floor plan, great location

"Lights and heat where on when we arrived after dark. We put a fire in the fireplace and settled in. Location was great and easy to get to and from China Peak. We had no problems at all with the Cozy Forest Cottage and will definitely be staying here again."

  • Great weekend

"We had a few hiccups throughout our stay but overall it was great. Firstly, there was no snow! My fault, I should've done more research with it being at such low altitude. Huge bummer, but we drove to the snow instead. The biggest issue is that the place was a MESS! The cleaners never showed! I'm talking food and trash everywhere and pee in the toilets! One call to the property manager fixed this issue. More than a few hours later the cleaning crew showed up to awkwardly clean in front of all 10 guests. I guess this is a reoccurring thing according to the owner. Time to move onto a new, more professional cleaning company. It took some arm pulling but the owner and I finally agreed to a reasonable refund amount due to such big inconveniences. Overall, it was a great weekend with friends. I probably wouldn't stay again or recommend anyone to stay here due to location."

  • Great time !!

"Our long weekend was perfect. Three families together under the same roof!! The house is in a great location. The inside is a little outdated, but completely functional. Enough beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. The kitchen completely loaded with all of the utensils and pans needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only concerned we had was the chimney. It had no doors or safety net to stop any sparks from the fire, and we had young kids in the house. We had to be extra vigilant with not allowing the kids to get close to the chimney. There were miner issues that were addressed to the property management. I do recommend this property, as long as the chimney gets fixed, especially if you have young ones."
