  • Pleasant Stay

"We enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage in Mill Valley. The cottage was quiet, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. The patio and landscaping outside our door was beautiful. Mill Valley was a great location for our explorations in Marin and nearby San Francisco. We found that the cottage was a peaceful place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. Chuck was great to work with and responded quickly to our inquiries."

  • Fantastic private cottage

"I stayed at the Honey Bee with my three year old son earlier this month and had a completely wonderful experience. The cottage is private and very well appointed. We were here for a week in early July and some days were quite warm, but the large ceiling fans kept both the living space and bedroom very comfortable and we both slept very well here. I was a little worried we would be living on top of one another while we shared a one bedroom, but that wasn't the case at all. It is well thought out and there was plenty of room for my son to play and for my parents to come over to visit. We also really enjoyed the several sitting areas in the gardens -the gardens are great! We enjoyed the shade of the beautiful fig trees and really enjoyed watching the bees do their work. The owners were extremely accommodating and welcoming, and overall we had a very relaxing stay here. I love this area and this was great neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for letting us create memories of a great trip home at the Honey Bee. We loved it!"

  • Incredible location, gorgeous cottage, and not as crowded as Tahoe

"Martha helped me out in so many countless ways for the booking, during our stay and even after as I forgot my son's toys there. This is a great cottage that I would find in my son's fairytales and it's reasonably priced. Both my boys had a terrific time playing at the river which we could see from the patio door. And the place is close Dodge Ridge, which is the first time I skied here as opposed to Tahoe and it was fantastic! Cheaper and less crowded. Will definitely visit again. Thanks Martha; you're the best!!!"

  • I love Stinson Beach and this charming cottage!

"My adult daughter and I stayed here for two nights to explore the coast before heading into the hills of wine country. This place really felt like home. The beds were quite comfy, and the kitchen was great! I am a chef, so know my way around a kitchen. LOL! However, other than breakfast, we really didn't cook because that was why I was on vacation - to let someone else cook for me. The little town of Stinson Beach is quite small, and has a tiny grocery store, but we were surprised at the quality way it was stocked! It seriously looked about the size of a gas station convenience store, but was so wonderful. Guacamole and salsa were stellar as were organic cheeses and produce! The cottage is a very short walk down a cute little path to the beach, and of course close to town. We had such an incredible dinner at the Parkside Cafe, we went back for breakfast! It was also fantastic. As we explored the coast, we stopped at a place right on the highway just north of Stinson Beach, called Tony's. Oysters Bingo might be the best oyster dish I have ever had in my life. It was their version of Oysters Rockefeller and simply delicious. Their shrimp and crab ceviche was unique in presentation and also yummy. Crab was in season, so one day we ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for someone who doesn't wish to stay right in San Francisco, but wants to explore Muir Woods, and the charming coastal towns like Bolinas."
