  • Convenient location on the quiet side of the Village

"We (4 of us) stayed here in July for a week of mountain biking. The condo is conveniently located on the top floor of the Grand Sierra Lodge overlooking Forest Trail Rd. We've stayed in several different condos in the Village over the years while skiing, and prefer the condos that DO NOT face the interior of the Village. Those condos that face the restaurants, pool area, and shops of the Village are very noisy late into the night. We were very happy to find a condo that was on the quiet side of the Village. Most of the 2 bedroom condos at the Village have 2 baths, but this unit has a 3rd full bath with shower. We only had 4 people staying here, but you could sleep many more. There is a king bed in one room, a queen in the other, and a queen sized pull out sofa bed in the living room. Plus, I noticed two roll away beds in the closets. At the Grand Sierra Lodge, there are ski lockers for guests down on the 1st floor, and for the mountain bikers, there is a secure bike storage area in the underground garage. One of our favorite features of the GSL is the pool/jacuzzi area. A little jacuzzi time is a must after skiing or biking. They even have BBQs in the area that you can used during the summer. Teresa (the owner) was very helpful during our stay. The Air Conditioning Unit wasn't working when we arrived, but Teresa was very prompt in getting a replacement delivered. We would definitely stay here again in the future."

  • Wonderful cabin, great location!

"We stayed there for a couple days in June 2016. Amazing attention to detail in all the features of the cabin. It feels very luxurious and the views are incredible. There is plenty of space to relax and make you feel at home. The hummingbirds were fun to watch in the late afternoon. It's just a short drive to Sequoia National Park. Vince is a very gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed. This cabin is one of the nicest rentals we have stayed at!"

  • Kern River getaway!

"We decided that the Kern River/Lake Isabella would be a fun weekend getaway for our 4 year anniversary. We have two dogs that we love to take everywhere! This river house was so awesome!! The house was huge for two people. A family of 5 could easily stay here and be comfortable. The backyard is fenced in for dogs. The view from the front patio is amazing. We drove down to Lake Isabella on a dirt path and then walked down to the lake. We also found a spot on the Kern River to setup for the day. The dogs had a blast!! You will have a great time guaranteed. :)"

  • DIANA H. & FAMILY

"Just had to leave a positive review for this mountain cabin vacation home that more than exceeded our expectations for the perfect "active family" get-away. We thoroughly enjoyed the solitude and beauty of this property's location in Bear Valley and found it a very convenient home base for all of the outdoor activities we enjoy, such as hiking, fishing & kayaking. The owner is pleasant and responds to inquiries in a timely fashion. Our family would be honored to stay in this lovely cabin again and again."
