  • Clean, spacious with a great backyard view.

"This was a last minute booking, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a two story rental with full bathroom on each level. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this house again."

  • Great family getaway

"My wife, three children and I were looking for a quiet family getaway from the Bay Area, and found this to be an excellent choice! The house was perfect for our needs--lots of space for our family, clean and well-kept, plenty of bedding, cozy, and a beautiful property to explore. The game garage (foosball, ping pong, air hockey) is fantastic for families with children. My kids spent hours out there, giving my wife and I a bit of a break. I was a bit concerned there wouldn't be enough to do in Groveland, especially since pouring rain was forecast for the entire weekend, but we found plenty to do. It was an easy trip up to Dodge Ridge to ski, the museum in town is good for a quick outing, and we caught a movie in Sonora. The rain kept us from exploring Yosemite this time around, but we enjoyed just spending time together and playing board games in the house. Ed and Judy were great, and brought over extra games and activities for our kids. Only area for improvement is that the wifi router in the house wasn't configured properly and didn't work, but Ed and Judy let us use an alternate connection. That suited us fine, as we were mostly trying to disconnect for the weekend. We would definitely stay again, and would love to explore more when it isn't pouring rain!"

  • Nice vacation

"This property was very easy to book and everything went smoothly, which I appreciated.Marcus was timely, professional and everything went like clockwork ( especially for a last-minute booking ). About the property: Pros: 1. Pine Mountain Lake is a large development close to Yosemite and Groveland. It is quite lovely. Plan on spending some time at the lake itself which was a lovely surprise and great for kids. Bring swimsuits! 2. The home has been updated and is clean, except for the more than occasional spider webs. 3. Interesting layout with good community space and each bedroom has its own bathroom. 4. Decently stocked kitchen. 5. Nice Decour and staging 6. Nice flat screen with active DirecTV Cons: 1. The home was hastily remodeled for sale and the work is extremely poor quality. 2. The deck is rather shaky and I would be concerned with putting a large party on it at once. If you were sitting in the living room and someone walks on the far corner of the deck your entire couch shakes. 3. They are not as particular about the upkeep of the external house. The deck is old and needs painting, cobwebs, leaves, old trash on the ground outside the house. 4. They're trying to sell the house, and left all the open house billboards and signs in the front entryway which was a little strange."

  • Wonderful Stay

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was in a great location, close to the main gate for easy access to town and HWY 120. Beds and furnishings were comfortable and in good condition. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and even spices which was appreciated. We would definitely stay again!"
