  • Get away....

"Clean, spacious, well kept home with a beautiful back porch that makes you want to spend time outside - watching the golfers, the deer, the birds or the stars. I went during the winter months, but it would be even more fun during the summer to take advantage of the near by lake and picnic area ammenities. Great nearby store full of locals and visitors and has almost anything you might need. Flat, one story - easily accessible for all ages. Sleeps many, but still has space for sleeping bags or blow up mattresses in each room to sleep more. Tons of windows. A true get away...."

  • Charming lodge with stunning views

"We brought 22 people to Lillaskog for a grad school retreat weekend, and could not have been happier with the accommodations. The lodge was spacious enough to fit all of us easily, while still feeling cozy and allowing all of us to spend time together. And the views alone are probably worth the trip. It was so lovely to sit out chatting with a warm drink and just taking in the mountain view. On practical stuff: the kitchen setup is very easy and useful, the bedrooms are small but comfortable, and the beds are very comfy. Getting to the lodge can be a little difficult, especially at night — you have to traverse some winding mountain roads — but that would be true for any trip to Yosemite, and the directions are very simple. Diane and Bill's recommendations were super helpful, and the main attractions of Yosemite are a relatively short drive away. I don't think there's a single thing we would have wanted to be different, except a longer stay!"

  • Perfect for the 3 of us!

"This charming 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for the three adults in our party. It was a comfortable "home" away from home at the end of a long day of hiking Yosemite National Park. The cottage is located close to the Guardhouse/entry gate, no long winding roads to navigate here, yet drive by traffic was not noted. Be prepared to pay a $25 parking fee at the Guardhouse upon initial entry. The kitchen provided all the dishes and cookware necessary for preparing and eating meals. The bath and bed linens were very good quality. We found the unit to be quite clean and well maintained. On an early morning walk through the neighborhood, deer and wild turkeys were spotted. The Pine Lakes neighborhood is conveniently located to the grocery, shops and restaurants in Groveland. The drive from the cottage to the Yosemite entrance was approximately 30 minutes with another 30 minutes to Yosemite Village. We were very pleased with our accommodations and would recommend it to those looking for lodging near Yosemite. It was a breeze to make reservations; response time was very prompt!"
