  • Everything we hoped for.

"Great house with plenty of space for 6. Loved watching the deer in the morning and evening in the backyard. No problems or disappointments with the home."

  • Clean, comfortable home with easy access to Yosemite

"Everything about our experience with this home was easy. The booking process was quick and simple...Tony was very responsive to our questions. He provided very clear instructions on how to get to the property and locate the key. The house was very well kept and clean. It was equipped with everything we needed for our two night stay. The kitchen was equipped with supplies needed. Towels and linens were all easy to find. There was even laundry detergent and fabric softener so we could wash clothes! Our three boys loved the huge bunk beds in the guest room and the pool table downstairs. They also liked playing on the enormous deck in the mornings while we were getting ready for our adventures in Yosemite. This home is very close to Groveland so it's easy to grab something from the store or eat in town. Checking out was also very easy and Tony was extremely prompt about getting our deposit returned to us. I was very pleased with that! I did not give this home 5 stars for a few reasons. 1. While there are portable ac units and fans located in the home, having no central ac made it rather warm, even at night while we were sleeping. Some may be ok with that but I like it pretty cool at night and we just couldn't get it cooled down enough during our stay in late June. 2. The wifi was nice, but it was spotty and unreliable. Tony has provided instructions in the home so you know what to do if it's not working but it was a little frustrating. I have a feeling that this is a common issue in the area and I was glad to at least have some wifi because many homes we looked at had none. 3. The home was VERY clean and well cared for, but was quite dated. It wouldn't take much to change out a few things to update the overall look. They did have newer towels and pots and pans that were really nice! Overall, this home served us very well and we would definitely stay here again. It was peaceful and just the right size for our family of 5 to spread out a little after being cramped in hotel rooms in other towns along the way. We did lots of shopping around for a good rental home for a good price and I felt like we picked an excellent home for the money."

  • Great Getaway!

"We stayed here for New Years for a few days. The location was beautiful, very isolated and private which was awesome because we stayed up late a few nights. It was in the middle of the forest, you really feel have no service out there which made it perfect for a family trip. The cabin had wifi if needed but i didn't share that with my family, we can all use a little break from social media. The cabin was nice and cozy, it was a little dirty but nothing major. The furniture can use a little update. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets. Heater works perfectly! It is an old cabin so using the toilette and showers was a bit difficult as we only had very little water. Overall it was a great place, we enjoyed it very much. The owner responds very quickly and made the booking very simple and easy. Will definitely stay here soon."

  • Great place to spend a few days

"My wife and 4 kids all had a great stay at Joe's place. Quiet location off of the #9 fairway. Not too far to Yosemite, golf course was enjoyable, and the beach area at community lake was fun. You can rent paddle boats, kayaks, canoes from marina for $25/hour. Also, just a short walk to neighborhood pool from the house. We didn't go, but think we could have as a guest of Joe's. Short drive to Groveland restaurants and grocery store. The drive from the community gated entrance to the house was adventuresome, but if you follow Joe's directions, you'll get there. I only gave a 4-star rating because the upstairs stayed warm with the A/C set at owner's directed 78 degrees setting, and the Pole Position arcade game was inop. I was really looking forward to remastering the game."
