  • A Family Friendly Getaway!!

"With a large family of 16, ranging in age from 8 mos. to 80 yrs old, this rental was the PERFECT place for us! We rented the main house, along with the bunkhouse, and everybody had a comfortable place to sleep. The kids loved the bunk bed area, where they used blankets to make it their very own fort and hide-away! We wanted a place to cook together, explore together, relax together and all be under one roof. The large refrigerator, nice cooktop range, large oven and plenty of counter space made preparing meals together a joy. The counter bar area along with the large country family style table/chairs made eating together easy. The main house and bunkhouse, along with the large bathrooms, were clean, with plenty of clean linens, blankets and towels. Instructions for arriving and departing were clear and easy to follow....nothing was left out. The owner was wonderful to work with...helpful and always accessible via quick email turnarounds. We could not have been happier with the accommodations or location. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy all the amenities available outside the cabin...large fire pit, bbq's, etc. We will definitely be back!! P.S. The prior reviews mentioned "lots of fun games"...unfortunately, our family could not find the stash of games, but we had brought a few of our own. Please reveal the hiding place for the games :)"

  • Great Getaway!

"We stayed here for New Years for a few days. The location was beautiful, very isolated and private which was awesome because we stayed up late a few nights. It was in the middle of the forest, you really feel have no service out there which made it perfect for a family trip. The cabin had wifi if needed but i didn't share that with my family, we can all use a little break from social media. The cabin was nice and cozy, it was a little dirty but nothing major. The furniture can use a little update. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets. Heater works perfectly! It is an old cabin so using the toilette and showers was a bit difficult as we only had very little water. Overall it was a great place, we enjoyed it very much. The owner responds very quickly and made the booking very simple and easy. Will definitely stay here soon."

  • Great place to spend a few days

"My wife and 4 kids all had a great stay at Joe's place. Quiet location off of the #9 fairway. Not too far to Yosemite, golf course was enjoyable, and the beach area at community lake was fun. You can rent paddle boats, kayaks, canoes from marina for $25/hour. Also, just a short walk to neighborhood pool from the house. We didn't go, but think we could have as a guest of Joe's. Short drive to Groveland restaurants and grocery store. The drive from the community gated entrance to the house was adventuresome, but if you follow Joe's directions, you'll get there. I only gave a 4-star rating because the upstairs stayed warm with the A/C set at owner's directed 78 degrees setting, and the Pole Position arcade game was inop. I was really looking forward to remastering the game."
