  • Perfectly clean and very comfortable!

"Our family had a fabulous experience. The home could not be more welcoming and comfortable. Ideal for families. Great location - very quiet with lots of wildlife. We'd book again in a minute! Thanks so much!"

  • GREAT PLACE TO STAY

"I must say that the cabin was amazingly stunning and most of all, very spacious and CLEAN. It suits people of all ages as well as a big family. My group consisted of 12 people and we all fit so comfortably. April checked in with us to see if we needed anything which I thought was very nice of her. April is just an amazing person, very caring and ACCOMMODATING. I mentioned I needed to arrive earlier than the check in time and she was very understanding of my situation. My stay was very enjoyable and pleasant. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to stay here."

  • Unique / Great Experience

"We stayed in the River House with a party of 7. (Beware, advertised price of River House is only for 2 people, I mistakenly thought it was for 8 people since it listed it slept 8 - additional price of almost $500.00 was needed for 5 extra people in our party) We had 2 adults, 4 teenagers (18 & 20 year olds) and a 13 year old. We all enjoyed the property, the hosts, the animals and the location. We arrived around 3pm and were pleased to find the location very close to rainbow falls and immediately put on our suits to go do some cliff jumping - Enjoyed by all 7 of us!! Patrick was great to talk to and set up a campfire one evening complete with guitar music and singing."

  • FANTASTIC deck, wonderful stay, very secluded

"Stayed here with a few friends for a birthday weekend - and LOVED the house. We spent most of the time out on the very large deck. The pictures don't do it justice - it is perched high in the trees (as the name suggests) and quickly became our preferred area to be. We used the barbeque (complete with extra propane and all the tools you would need) and enjoyed using the outdoor table for dining. The amenities were great - complete kitchen (not many condiments/spices though like I've seen in other VRBOs so come prepared if you'll be cooking), plenty of extra towels, pillows, and blankets, and laundry room equipped with detergent. We didn't use the pool table although it was fun to have an extra area to lounge. We had no problems with the wifi and enjoyed watching the Olympics (although cable channels are limited and movie selection is as well, although there are DVDs and some video tapes provided). If staying for a long time or with a large party, you might find the rooms a bit small and crowded. Otherwise the beds were very comfortable. Our other favorite part of the house was the location - only a neighbor on one side and we could barely even tell. The deck is very private and the house is off any main roads and very quiet and peaceful. It is a bit farther from the lake than other houses listed on VRBO, but that was no problem for us. Be warned however - we had to pay $25 per car to enter the Pine Mountain Lake area, a fact I would have liked to know before booking. Fantastic stay overall, would love to come back in the future!!"
