  • The Most Wonderful Vacation Retreat

"Enjoying Thanksgiving with our family at this wonderful vacation retreat. Watching deer grazing outside our windows. (lots of them, everyday) Hiking to the tree house. Exploring all the unique buildings on the property. Warming in the jacuzzi. Cooling in the pool (even in the winter, if you are 8 or 11) Playing all the games, inside or out. Listening to Sirius radio. Watching TV. Snuggling by the fireplace. Jeff, thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation retreat with our family. Can't wait to return (maybe summer and winter) Your attention to detail, comfort, pleasure and cleanliness exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return."

  • Had a great time, and the Adams House fit our needs perfectly.

"The layout of the Adams House worked well for our group of three adult couples. Kitchen, breakfast room and dining room worked very efficiently for our group breakfasts. Beds were comfortable. Living room is spacious. The house itself had many interesting architectural details and we enjoyed the library. Nice to find several guidebooks to the Yosemite area on the shelves, since we mislaid ours on the way out to California. This is an older house, which was far more interesting to us than a bland, cookie cutter modern room. It was clean, although as expected in a house this age, we found the usual dings and wear and tear of a century of life. The town of Mariposa is charming and we enjoyed some nice meals at good restaurants. In particular, the Savoury was good. Our main activity was touring Yosemite. You can expect a 40 min. car ride to the park over a good, scenic highway. Overall, an excellent experience and a good place to stay."

  • New Years in Mariposa

"Our family enjoyed our week here over New Years. We enjoyed hiking and exploring the property. The kids were hoping for snow but instead we got rain. Spent a wonderful day in Yosemite. One day we drove west on the 49 to check out the views of the Merced river. Be sure to check out! We would love to come back for another visit. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was especially for its petite size. We were unable to enjoy the observatory because of the weather. Another reason to return."

  • Perfect mountain getaway!

"This was our second stay at Lee's cabin and was exactly what we needed. Lee is an awesome owner - he went up to the cabin and started a fire in the stove so that it was toasty when we arrived. The new heated floors are great! It's cozy and clean and has everything you need for your stay. The cabin has no neighbors directly behind so it really feels private. We will rent again soon!"
