  • Awesome!

"We took our 4 kids up to Mammoth and stayed at this beautiful Mountain Home. The best trip we've had to Mammoth in a long time. The house is located perfectly in a quiet neighborhood but yet so close to town and the village. The owners were extremely easy to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The architecture of this home is by far so unique and exceptionally tailored. Great design inside and out. It's on a wonderful property(beautiful stream-snow just starting to melt) with a great jacuzzi in the backyard and even at 19 degrees, my kids still jumped right in every single night. Great for after the slopes! Plenty of space in the house for everyone to either hang out or chill on their own. All the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room etc are all so comfortable and again met with such great details it is like staying at a 5 star resort just with no people or noise! The house was impeccably clean, and I'm really really picky when it comes to that! Thank you Owners for sharing your beautiful home with us, we absolutely cannot wait to return. Will never stay anywhere else!"

  • Carol is AMAZING

"Carol went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. The studio was in immaculate condition and in one of the most beautiful & convenient hotels in Mammoth. The studio was cozy with a large window seat overlooking a beautiful view of the mountains on the top floor. Great fireplace to warm your wet ski gear and perfect kitchenette to make meals. Carol was incredibly helpful with getting lift tickets. Working with Carol made the trip feel like we really made a connection to Mammoth and we can't wait to return and will absolutely call her first when making our hotel accommodations. This is one of the best rooms in the Westin on the top floor-views, quiet and cozy."

  • Fantastic location to relax

"The property is very well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Outside the pool and hot tub were a great bonus for the kids and the adults for that matter! It's not very often you can sit in your garden and watch deer eat their tea which was fantastic. If there was a slight down side the inside of the house is quite dated but in no way did this stop our enjoyment."

  • Cozy Retreat - great for kids, a little secluded, hiking nearby

"I rented The Friend's Cabin for a winter weekend with a group of friends. The home was perfect for us. Plenty to do for everyone - hot tub, fussball, TV, cooking, or hiking. There are waterfalls and several trail heads within easy walking distance. We had dogs and small kids and the house accomodated them easily. Anything we needed (extra TP and towels) was easily gotten at the rental management office. The folks running the office were very friendly and responsive. The cabin is in the park, so it was only 45 min from Badger Pass even with some icy conditions. There was little snow at Wawona's elevation when we were there but it can get snowed in occasionally. The cabin owner is so friendly and kind we felt so welcomed. All of us decided we would try to make this a regular event at The Friend's (Freund's) Cabin!"
