  • Amazing studio and hosts

"We had an amazing weekend stay in the studio. The studio is in the perfect location and is extremely well planned and maintained. We cooked all of our meals with ease in the kitchenette and bbq on the deck. The owners were extremely helpful and suggested several great hiking trails. We are looking forward to our next stay very much!"

  • Our family reunion at Bass Lake

"My family and I have been renting a cabin at Bass Lake every summer for the past 10 years. (Prior to that we took our family camper or tent camped.....We've been going to Bass Lake since I was a little girl......Elmer!!! may give you a hint for how long!) For the past 10 years our family has been making it a family reunion every summer. We had 27 family members there this year, renting 4 different cabins and celebrating my brother and his wife's 40th wedding anniversary!! I usually use VRBO to find our cabin and this year I chose this adorable cottage. It was the best experience ever. I have to say I was hesitant at first, even though everything about this cabin sounded awesome, it didn't have central air. I'm a freak about air conditioning. I took a chance, and boy I'm glad I did! First of all Janice the owner was soooo amazing to work with. She always answered all my questions right away and was so accommodating. Yes, it was a little warm at times, but we were at the Lake for most of the day and able to cool off at night with the fans and cool evening air. This cabin was the most stocked cabin I've ever stayed in. My only negative thing I could say was the parking. We had 2 cars and a trailer and it was a little snug and tough to get into, but we managed. Overall it was the best cabin we've rented....it was clean, stocked, and had the most accommodating owner I've ever worked with. Thank you Janice for everything! P.S. Just an added thing to say about the owner... because my brother and his wife were renewing their vows at the Pines village church we needed an iron to kind of dress up...LOL! ( I know who needs an iron while at Bass Lake??? Well we did and the owner made a trip to bring us one) Rent this cabin...you won't be sorry!!"

  • Great place to stay in Cold Springs!

"We've been going to visit Pinecrest Lake every summer for many years. This cabin has nice bedrooms and plenty of space for the family. Hoping to come again soon and stay for a longer time."

  • Property was picture perfect!

"The property was exactly as presented, minus the flowing river, which I knew ahead of time was dry this time of year due to the drought. The house was very nicely done and was so very comfortable. I walked in and immediately told my husband we were coming back! We had our 2 adult children and their significant others and 2 dogs. The house accommodated us all very well and everyone had their own space. Conveniently located to the Sequoia's as well as the lake and river where we took the dogs our last day to hang out. The house had everything we needed available for us including a great BBQ are on the deck. We visited the general store nearby and they had a little of everything that you might need. I could have stayed at the house the entire time we were there and have been very happy! I am definitely going back. Oh, and the neighbors are very nice."
