  • Great place, great location and great hosts!

"First off, this place is a stones throw from local restaurants, the gondola and best of all, Mammoth brewing. The only time we would drive would to go fishing at Hot Creek which was 10 minutes away. The place was two units combined in to one so it is 3 levels connected with a spiral staircase. My dad has bad knees so this was a problem for him. Other than that the place was great. Very clean, new hardwood floors, TV and surround sound was easy to use. There are two bedrooms downstairs with two full bathrooms and the middle floor is kitchen and living room with bathroom and upstairs is the bunkbeds and bathroom as well. It fit 11 of us fairly easily. I will say the first night we got there it took about 6 hours to get the whole unit warm but after that we were opening windows because it stayed so warm! Carine and her husband responded to texts very quickly whenever we had a question, even on thanksgiving day. If you are looking for a clean, up to date place that is 2 minutes walking distance from the many restaurants and starbucks then this is for you. Thank you Carine for letting us stay in your place, we loved it!"

  • Very comfortable and homey

"Eric & Christine's home was very well suited for our family of 8. Plenty of kitchen equipment, plates, pots and pans, etc. The beds where very comfortable. Eric spells everything out for you very well. In his communications to us he gave pretty much everything that we might need while there, even telling us about local businesses. The home is very comfortable, with just about every electronic thing you can think of, even with WiFi, which I don't fully understand, but most of my family does. Thank you Eric and Christine for allowing us to stay at you lovely home in the mountains. It also snowed about 13 inches the evening we where there, BEAUTIFUL."

  • A great spot for a large group to gather comfortably.

"The houses are log cabin style. Cozy, comfortable, mismatched, lived-in, well-equipped. The best feature is a huge great room, with several different seating areas, including a large dining room table. Our group gathered comfortably there, and on the comfy front and back porches, over a long weekend. The location feels "in the woods." There is a children's camp next door, which is occupied during the summer, but otherwise quiet and peaceful. The owners are responsive and friendly. We would stay here again."

  • A great and convenient place to stay in Mammoth Lakes

"My husband, myself and 3 other friends stayed here as a base camp as we acclimated in the mountains for our 6 day trek on the John Muir Trail going northbound from Agnew Meadows to Yosemite. Keith, the owner, was extremely responsive to any questions I had prior to our getting there. The place was just right for all of us! The upstairs has 3 beds, which made it ideal for our 3 hiking partners and they had their own bathroom up there, too. The master bedroom downstairs was very roomy, with a great closet and an adjoining bathroom. The kitchen was very well equipped and as we cooked in a lot, this was ideal. I love having all the right kitchen tools, cookware, and serving ware...and this place had it all. There is laundry facilities on the property. Yes, you need to pay, but it is minimal and very convenient, which we loved when we returned from our backpacking trip..much in need of cleaning our very dirty clothes! It was also very convenient to the main grocery store-within walking distance, as well as restaurants, sports stores and more. It really was just the right place for us. We stayed there a week plus a couple days before our trek, and kept it while we were gone and felt completely safe leaving our stuff there while we hiked the trail. It was nice to come back to a comfy place once we finished our backpacking trip with a couple of days to recover before we left for our home places! I would highly recommend this 1 bedroom plus loft condo for your Mammoth Lakes stay!"
