  • The absolute Best place to stay

"We enjoyed our stay. My wife and I loved the place. Very nice neighborhood, nice people to deal with when renting, and overall the best place we have stayed in a very long time. Very clean, well kept, nice yard, quiet and close very close to the Yosemite National Park. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Perfect for our large group "snow trip" year after year!

"This was our 5th year returning to this cabin. I feel bad not writing a review about it until now, but the cabin is so perfect that I almost don't want to tell anyone else about it. But that is not fair to the owners who have been very nice, professional and completely receptive to all of our needs for 5 years. So here is my 5 Star Review for this great cabin. This cabin is everything a large group could hope for! It has a large communal space, movie theater with lazy boy chairs, huge fully stocked kitchen, huge tables where everyone can sit down and enjoy dinner together, 2 dishwashers, great washer/dryer/laundry room, a big fire place and, best of all, the best sledding is right outside, next to the house. You don't have to drive anywhere! The kids (age range of 18 months to 8 years old) who belong to the 6 families that come with us LOVE the place! It is very kid friendly with games, books and sleds at the cabin. The owners obviously take pride in their cabin and put a lot of love and energy into it. The neighborhhod is absolutely beautiful too! Everything is white with snow and there is a lake that you can walk to that actually freezes over into a Winter Wonderland. The owners have told us that it is just as beautiful in the summer but we haven't made it there at any time except February. The only thing about the cabin that might throw someone a little is that you have to keep the fire burning all night and that the downstairs rooms do get quite chilly. But as long as you know about it in advance, pack warm pajamas and sleeping bags, you'll be fine. The owners have a ton of blankets available for use as well. The place is great and the owners have been extremely attentive and prompt at answering any small needs we've had over the years."

  • Very clean and well-kept!

"This was our first visit to mammoth and we loved this place. It was very clean and well-kept. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were comfortable so we actually got a good night's sleep. The building has a pool, jacuzzi, small fitness room, bbq grills, and vending machines on the first floor. We will definitely be staying at this place again on our next visit!"

  • Comfortable, spacious, well appointed, beautiful views. We loved our stay here.

"We loved our stay at Bear Spring Cabin. There is so much to do and see both on the property and in the nearby Sequoia groves and surrounding mountains. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house and grounds were spacious and had everything we needed."
