  • Perfect House for the perfect Winter family vacation

"My family and I stayed here in January and we had the best experience on our family winter weekend vacation. I'm so grateful that we found the perfect house for our family that was a mix of grandparents, adult children, and little toddler grandchildren . Lisa the owner and the property manager Lysa were both so friendly and accomodating, and any communication we shared was very smooth. Our favorite part of this house was the main floor where the spacious kitchen and living room were open to each other and allowed all the family members to have ample space and to be doing different activities at times, but still being the same space and coming together at certain times for family time and fun. The backyard very large and we were able to do some fun sledding just a few steps out the back door. I can't say enough about this house and how wonderful every inch this warm, family-friendly, perfect winter retreat of a house this rental was. Thank you so much!"

  • Always a Great Stay

"Our little Girl Scout troop spent a wonderful weekend at this lovely cabin right on the lake! Plenty of room for all 13 of us, and the beautiful neighborhood was great for long walks along the lake and through the trees. Big Bear Lake is one of our favorite vacation spots and this is the only place we will stay when we come up. Thank you so much, Diane, for creating such a nice, comfortable house where we all felt right at home!!"

  • Steps to the lake

"This studio was perfect for two people, it was literally a few steps to the lake, and a short 3 minute walk to Pine Knot Avenue (the "main" street with shops, bars, restaurants, theater, etc). The studio was clean and well appointed, with an attached garage so you could stow your stuff (but not a car) inside and have more walking around space in the studio. This was perfect for our bikes, stroller, luggage etc. There was a BBQ on the patio, and all the appliances in the studio worked. There was no stove top, just a single burner hot plate, but there was a microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator (and a dishwasher). The heater was adequate for our needs. My only complaint was that we did not have keys to the pool area or the dock area, and our calls to the owner weren't answered (it was a holiday week end, so perhaps he was on holiday). The adjacent hotel was listed as a contact for problems, but they said they no longer managed the rental. I would absolutely rent this again, but I would clarify the pool and dock key beforehand."

  • Grandma

"Our family just had an amazing weekend at this wonderful cabin home. We enjoyed the warm welcome, comp!ete with yummy cookies! The cabin is just as pictured, clean, inviting, and very family friendly. We appreciated having a crib, and side rails ready for our use for our grandchildren. We all enjoyed the pool table, and the fooseball table. It was great to have the spa there to relax in after busy days. What a bonus to have two fireplaces. From the huge stack of movies to the sleds, and swing set, we had everything we needed and more to make family memories! Thank you Sol and Kim😇 we loved your home!!"
