  • Confortable stay

"It was a very good experience, we love to be so close to the mountain. The rooms are just fine and the space perfect for two families. The only thing I could say is that the third floor, it was freezing, the heat does not go up, so could be a good idea to bring a heater. The cabin has enough blankets, the pillows were perfect, and we had a GREAT time!.. Thank you"

  • Practical, comfy home, no frills.

"Overall comfortable, practical home. Has what you need, but don't expect any special details like nice linens or comfy pillows. The house is maintained, all linens are clean and furniture is dusted, etc. but it's in need of an overall deep cleaning and refresh in my opinion. My husband and I stayed here with 3 younger children and it was fine. Queen bed in main bedroom is just ok comfortable. Second bedroom sleeps 3-4 children easily. House has central heating but is on the loud side when it kicks in. My kids loved playing in the snow in the backyard. And the WIFI and Direct TV were nice. The living room has a fireplace but you supply the wood. Located near Snow Summitt and 3 miles from Bear Mountain."

  • Loved these homes! Great location.

"We traveled with our family and 2 sets of grandparents. Loved being able to have separate spaces. We put the grandparents in one cabin and our family of 6 in the other. With the cabins right next to each other it made us all still feel like we were together... but separate. Cabins are nice and clean. Very close to the ski resort. We are for sure coming back in the winter. Highly recommend. Property Manger was easy to work with and met us at the property on our arrival."

  • Nice Property; A few improvements would make it great

"We chose this property because of the proximity to the Snow Summit resort. It literally takes ten minutes to walk to the ski school, the equipment rental or the ticket booth. It was great to get the kids dressing and walk them up to the ski school and get them situated while people were trying to park their cars further away. A few improvements would significantly improve the property. We like to cook, and that is important with kids and grand-kids. The appliances are literally the cheapest possible outside the third world. Spending a hundred dollars at Costco with a full set of dishes, (including small plates) a few nice wine glasses and some decent kitchen utensils would make a big difference. For us spending a thousand dollars for a weekend we kind of expect a little nicer amenities (spend $80 for a DVD player with a remote). Also, we had to use flashlights to try to find things as the lighting so was so dim that we had trouble finding things in the dim light. Other than that, the property was very nice; clean comfortable beds, lots of towels, lots of blankets and a nice Jacuzzi; and comfortable furniture."
