  • Best place for couple vacation !!

"We had a lovely time stayed in this little cabin. It is perfect for a couple like us. It has everything you need for sure. The location is quite and close to anywhere that you want to shop. The furniture were new and nice decoration. The owner helped us a lot and answered all the questions that we had. We'll be back here next time. Highly recommended 👍"

  • Happy to Have Found This Place

"We wanted to spend some quality family time with our grown kids and grandbaby so we decided to go away for the Thanksgiving Holiday together. I wanted to be in a location that we didn't have to load up and drive everywhere to do anything and I was fortunate enough to run across this cabin. The location is awesome being on the Lake but only 2-3 blocks from the Village. (FYI, the Lake is extremely low from the drought so its not as though you can go fish from the dock as it looks possible in the picture....the dock is actually sitting on dry land now and the water is probably another 200 meters out). We didn't need a lot of sleeping room but there was plenty. As well as lots of extra blankets, pillows, etc. Since we were cooking an entire Thanksgiving dinner, I brought many things up with me just to be safe, but found kitchen is very well stocked so I didn't have to end up using much. I would say if you are planning on cooking stove-top for 5+ people, it might be good to bring your own "larger" skillets for things like eggs and bacon to be cooked in quantity. There is also a cabinet stocked with games which was nice. If you are traveling with children, there is a highchair, baby gate and bed rail all stored in the closets for use. If you are visiting during colder months, I highly suggest taking some slippers as the kitchen floor gets freezing and socks just wont cut it. The heater did a good job of making the bedrooms comfortable but the front living area always stayed a little chilly as it is a large open area with 2 large glass sliders..not uncomfortable by any means, but will make you want to snuggle in some sweats and a long sleeve. If I had any suggestions for the cabin would be maybe to have 1 more small loveseat or comfy chairs for the living room, there is a nice sectional but we found ourselves sometimes sitting around on the floor or on the fireplace or ottoman so we weren't all crammed on the couch together. Its is however a very cozy and comfortable living area. It was nice to have room to park 3 cars and to even have 1 of them in a garage. We walked to the village each day and sometimes to the coffee shop right around the corner. If you don't want to spend your time cooking at the cabin, there are lots of walkable places to eat and shop in the Village. If you are looking for a newer, up to date, granite counter kind of place, this would not be for you. It is older but well kept and lots of old mountainy charm. We would definitely recommend."

  • Great location - Everything you need!

"Pros: Amazing location. I can only imagine renting here during the winter months with it being located at Snow Summit. (Probably 100 yards from the lifts) And if you visit during the offseason (Our Visit) the condo sits right next to a main trail. If your a mountain biker, well just wake up and your there! Snow Sumitt opens all their trails to mountain bikers and hikers during off season. Condo had all we needed 2 bedrooms, 2 full bath, and laundry all located downstairs, with full kitchen (fully stocked with cookware, appliances, silverware, coffee maker ect.), dinning room, family room (two couches, one chair, tv and fireplace) and balconies attached to both the family room and the downstairs master bedroom). Wifi was provided as well as cable tv in every bedroom and family room). It was all perfect for what we needed traveling with a 2 and 4 year old, and two dogs (pet friendly with an addition charge per pet). Cons: I would say it may be time for some upgrades. Lighting was pretty bad in the masterbedroom which is an easy update and the tv is a older large tube tv on a large wall mount. The wall mount is ready for replacement, oddly located right as you walk into the bedroom at shoulder level with me (I'm 6'1") between bed and vanity and very wobbly. I'm sure I'm not the first to have a close call with walking my face into it. We ended up taking it down since it wasn't working anyway (cablebox was not working which we were warned about at rental office at checkin) Overall: Great Visit, Great rental, 5 stars everything we needed and everything we were promised. "TV wasn't a big deal to our family, far too much for us to do outside!" All cons were cosmetic and would easy be fixed."
