  • Wonderful family vacation July 2016

"Lovely place. Was all it was cracked up to be. Kitchen had everything, needed to bring nothing. The deck was a highlight with great views of the lake. Walking distance to the village, marina and many other attractions. Enjoyed parasailing, wave runner, pontoon boating, go-carting, alpine slide, shopping, and eating at the local restaurants. I highly recommend Kari's Lakeside Chalet!"

  • Weekend with sons

"This was better than described. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It's close to grocery store and village. It's right next to ski shuttle. There were 4 of us and we all loved it! Also, very easy dealing with the property manager. I will definately use again."

  • Ideal location for snow play with the little ones

"Our family had a wonderful New Year's visit in this home. The rental experience was easy enough (via check through the mail), and the owner is so friendly and was very, very quick to answer any communications we had.The location near the snow-covered golf course allowed our 4 and 9-year-old kids to have tons of fun just stepping outside the house, which was super helpful. The home was very clean, tastefully decorated, and had a little Christmas tree up, which was a charming touch. All in all, we would absolutely recommend this rental to friends and family, and hope to come back ourselves in the future. Thanks for a great vrbo experience!"

  • Comfy Cabin, Helpful Owner

"Van was very easy to coordinate our stay. He even let us know when the housecleaners would be gone on the day we checked in so we got in quite early! His instructions were helpful and simple. Two days after our departure, my deposit was in my bank account and I received a thank you email from him. We were at max capacity with 8 people and there was a bed or couch for everyone. The cabin had plenty of linens/sheets and bath towels for our 3 night stay. We did a lot of cooking and there were some basic kitchen items like pans, pots, cookie sheets, utensils, dishware, cups. If you are making anything random, consider bringing any non-basic utensils (i.e. cheese slicer ) as well as tupperware for leftovers. I really liked that the space allows you to cook, socialize and relax all in one area which was nice. We did run out of toilet paper and paper towels so you may want to bring a bit more but they provide these starting items, trash bags and dish soap! Cable is very limited but there is a DVD player so we ran to the RedBox down the street and enjoyed 3 movies! The WiFi worked great - I think everyone was logged in. Don't be discouraged by the location on VRBO's map! It looks off the beaten path but the cabin is not far from anything including both Snow Resorts, the grocery store and many other restaurants and shops. Firewood was even provided but our late season visit didn't require any fires."
