  • cozy cabin close to national forest

"This is a hidden gem, close to the national forest with a great fenced yard for our dog. The cabin itself is small but the location is great if you want to enjoy nature and avoid the crowds of Big Bear."

  • Cute, cozy, warm, quiet, clean cabin in Sugar Loaf

"This house had a cabin cozy feel. I love the timber-knotted pine look. It was cozy and very clean. Two King sized beds slept me, my two kids and my folks from out of town in the other. There was ample room for two dog crates too. The bedding was orthopedic soft feeling. The kitchen was enough space to cook and eat. Plenty of room for three adults, two kids (9 & 7), and two med size dogs. I liked the fenced porch for the pooches.Even though the yard wasn't fenced, it was great having the National Forest directly behind the house! We saw many different birds, rabbits and BURRO. Neighbors said Bear, raccoon and coyotes lurk about. Even though we were nightly renters, the neighbors were quite friendly and nice. We would definitely come back again!"

  • Cozy, clean and comfy cabin for us and our dog

"Our big bear trip consisted of me, the lady and our pup. This cabin has a nice fenced backyard so the dog could roam around freely. The cabin itself was clean, with ample utilities for cooking and a nice fireplace. Everything in the cabin was easy to use as instructions were placed by anything that was usable (tv, cable box, fireplace etc) so we had no frustrating "how do we use this?" Style problems. Location itself was close to the lake and town area. John (the owner of property) also sends you an email with gives plenty of directions and locations in the area which was very helpful when looking for shops etc. we would diffently stay at this cabin again. Defiantly recommended if you are looking for a place to bring your pup to big bear or even if you need a cozy place to stay ."

  • Great Family Cabin Stay!

"Me and my family of 4 boys went up for some boating and fishing. The cabin was very cozy and the property owner was very nice. the cabin has great amenities and the location is good. Although the cabin has cable we rented movies from Redbox and enjoyed family movie nights. The local community park was impressive, loved the gym equipment at the park and the skate park. All 4 of my boys definitely utilized everything the park had to offer and had a blast. The fishing didn't go so well, I guess it was the wrong time of the year. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would recommend this cabin to family and friends."
