  • A great place to stay!

"Our stay at Eagle Point was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and a lot of the credit goes to the cabin and owner. This place has it all, including a built-in babysitter....the Game Room. Our kids spent every minute they could playing ping-pong, pool and air hockey, which let mom and dad have a vacation on vacation! The cabin has one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever seen. All you need to do is bring your food and your good-to-go. All cookware, dishware, spices and seasons are provided, which means you don't have to haul your own stuff. The cabin is big, beautiful and super clean. Our family will be planning on staying here next time! Thank you Gary for providing such a enjoyable and relaxing environment. Chris"

  • Beautiful place, low cleanliness

"Let me start off by saying this home is gorgeous. The neighborhood was safe and respectable. Our needs were met by the size of rooms and family spaces. Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the house. There was mold growing in the shower and bits of hair. The floors were not vacuumed or swept. It just seemed that they weren't cleaning well between renters. We cleaned the house when we got there and set traps for the mice that we found roaming. Wasn't impressed with the response from the management company about our concerns. Overall a pleasant stay but we would encourage the owner and managing company to be more watchful."

  • Renovated A-frame tree house on a hill with a large balcony

"The 4 of us enjoyed our stay in Woody's well appointed cabin. The balcony is up in the pine trees and has a hot tub, grill and table for 4 with outside speakers (no inside speakers). The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. The 2 bedrooms were comfortable and there were two bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom has a TV and is only hooked up to a dvd player with a collection of dvd's available. Since, we're short, the upstairs shower was fine, but a tall or portly person would have a difficult time fitting in. There is also an empty room off the upstairs bedroom that could accommodate a blow up mattress or crib. The living room has a tv with cable and a fireplace. The furniture is comfortable, but extremely worn. The dining area seats 4 very comfortably and there is also an office. The walk to the lake is short and steep, as is the drive up to the cabin, but parking is right outside the front door. The slip dock is located at the Village and there is free parking close to it. Unfortunately, the lake is very low and the area around the dock has lots of plants just below the surface of the water which inhibits wading. There is a grill, but the patio chairs need to be replaced in order to enjoy the lake views. Woody's place would not be suitable for small children or those with difficulty walking."
