  • Beautiful clean house

"My boyfriend and I stayed here during Desert trip weekend. The house is beautiful and even better than the pictures. It was very clean, not one spot of dust. The decorations were great! The layout of the house makes indoor outdoor living easy. Everything is so well organized. The house is stocked with everything you will need, towels, toiletries, etc. The house is located near three markets and many restaurants, making it really convenient. It was a 25 minute drive to Empire Polo Field which was also great. My boyfriend and I loved it here and didn't want to go home. We would love to stay here again in the future."

  • Lovely, spacious, comfortable home with great pool--and perfect location

"We were excited when friends (two different sets of friends) told us they had a great stay at the home where Ray Bradbury used to live. We finally got to experience the place ourselves and it was just about perfect. Very spacious, with three bedrooms, each with a lot of privacy. An inviting living/dining area overlooking the beautiful pool. Very well stocked kitchen--we cooked and barbecued when we felt like staying home. Very cool mid modern neighborhood, nicely located. A couple of blocks from the Ace Hotel, which has great food, and from Koffi, where the whole neighborhood congregates in the mornings. You can rent bikes and bike everywhere. We did without a car just fine (with some help from Uber). Only glitches were a) problems with the pool heater, which seems unreliable and b) no cable (in the middle of the playoffs). Steve said the previous guests had reported the cable problem, so we wished he'd taken care of it in time for our visit. I'm sure it's fixed by now, in any case. All in all, a fabulous weekend and we would definitely return."

  • Great Get-Away, Excellent Value

"My wife and I have been visiting La Quinta for years, either staying at the La Quinta Resort or with relatives in nearby gated communities. The Legacy Villas is our new go-to destination. With a 6 year-old son, Inna's 1 bed, 1 bath unit works really well, particularly with the pull out couch. The community has the same architectural charm as the La Quinta Resort, and the pool facilities with cabanas are perfect for families. The unit was tastefully furnished and well maintained. We wondered if this particular unit might have been a model home used during construction because it is situated adjacent to the main gate and guest parking area, so it feels slightly removed from the rest of the community. However, the price of the unit was lower than other comparable units on the property, so we felt the value was very good. The location also means that the patio is next to the main street that cars use to enter the community. That said, the view of the mountains from the patio is very nice, and very little auto or pedestrian traffic passes by. The unit is also right across the street from the main pools and club house which makes it very convenient. Given the value, this is an outstanding choice for a family get away to La Quinta. And, Inna is very helpful!"

  • Very nice and convenient!

"We lilove the cabin it was cozy and well appointed. Easy to get to and very clean welcoming. Lots of nots and information about the cabin and the area. Only draw back was we had 5ppl and it really int sleeps 4 (two bedrooms with queen beds) my 16year old daughter was expecting to be on a couch but the couches are really recliners that no longer recline. So she wound up on the floor (wood floor), next time I would bring a blow up mattress. I say next time because if I ever find myself in Crestline in the future I would definitely consider this cabin again."
